Also Frozen is still NOT Norway.

Nemo would have fit the Seas if they maintained the educational parts. They just tossed parts of the movie and called it a job well done.
Rattatouie at least will have one huge part of their culture tying it to the pavilion. aka the food love.
I think they may be slowly and quietly adding some back in. Last trip there were CM's in a few areas teaching about the different marine life. Nothing was on the schedule, it may have been a trial balloon for the change over to the Marine Institute. I'm holding out some hope for the Seas.

I enjoyed Seas. It had a full story from the short movie hydro elevators the ride through seeing so many types of fish, dolphins and then everything to explore on the first floor hands on. A good backstory. Now Nemo is one of the cheapest overlays I've seen yet and from what I understand a cheap overlay will go into Mexico Coco will represent Mexico. My kids learned about cultures. My someday grandkids will think Norway is about a frozen land France about a foodie rat place and Mexico culture is Coco
It may depend on the story line of Coco and how much other than the ride that gets changed. If it's only the ride I'm ok with that especially if San Angel gets some decent food and less tables.

So, @figmentfan423 , you'll be happy to know that I was able to get groceries today. I tried the online delivery service from one of the local grocery stores. It was so easy and it was great--they delivered it right to my door, at the time I signed up for. The actual delivery truck was kinda neat--it had multiple compartment doors--some frozen, some refrigerated, and others for other stuff. The delivery man kept pulling out my bags from different parts of the truck and he put them on the front porch (I was out there when he arrived).

But the best part was that it was like getting all these bags of presents delivered to me. It was almost like--

:joyfull: :joyfull: (Oh, it was also cheaper than me going round trip via taxi, as the store's delivery fee was very low and just a small fee for the order picker as well.) So a win win!!
I'm glad it worked out for you. Sounds like something that may be a nice treat once in a while and you won't have to worry about unexpected unhealthy extras winding up in your cart:joyfull:

Well our Farmers Market is still not quite there. Went today again and only came back with Cuc's and Zuc's.
Sympathy like. I made out pretty well. Tomatoes, bibb lettuce for the wraps last night, cukes, zuke(green and yellow) a couple of peppers assorted greens, leeks, eggs, garlic and radishes. Oh and the fun one 50 pounds of potatoes. note to self leave James and my dh home when I go food shopping:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: He claimed to need wood chunks:cautious:

Hoping this thunderstorm will last long enough to deter our neighbors from setting off illegal fireworks tonight. I'm so exhausted from staying up so late last night :banghead:

It's so obnoxious with the locals setting off those things. I wouldn't mind if they knocked it off by say, 10:00 PM, but when they're out there well beyond midnight--it's just rude and infuriating. The local cops are spread thin, chasing these people down around this time of year. My dog totally freaks out, too--he's terrified of the noise.

And to add to the ongoing list of injuries from people using them, an 18-year-old guy in my state, just had multiple fingers blown off yesterday. Even though it's against the law in MA to use them (except for the professional fireworks displays) these sad news stories happen every year around this time. :(

I swear I'm going to do this. Awesome. I hate grocery shopping. Put in cart, take out of cart and on belt. Load back into cart. Unload cart into truck. Unload truck to home, put away all that.

Bags to door, priceless.

It was almost too good to be true. Quite a few years ago, I didn't have a car and there was no bus service to a grocery store. So every week, I had to taxi back and forth for groceries. Often, I'd end up waiting a long time for the taxi, then load the stuff in the trunk--get home, unload.

With this online order/delivery system, you just hang out at home during the time you requested for delivery (they give an approx. 2-hour window--you pick either middle of the day, 11:30 - 1:30, or evening, 5:30 - 8:00 PM--as they also deliver to other houses in the local area). Oh, I did tip the driver as well, as I felt it was the courteous thing to do.

Gabe, the first time you order online (no matter what store it is from--luckily, we have a bunch in my area), give yourself extra time to "find" things. Most items are very easy to locate (Dairy -- milk, cheese, etc.), but sometimes you have to click around in the categories to find something. In other words, it's faster to go to a store, and just walk down the aisles where you see everything right away. But once you get the hang of where the online stuff is on their web site, you could go through it much faster--even setting up "favorites" for quicker ordering. And by the way, I looked at 4 different store sites and all are set up differently.

I'm glad it worked out for you. Sounds like something that may be a nice treat once in a while and you won't have to worry about unexpected unhealthy extras winding up in your cart

Oh, but there are plenty of eye candy, photos of "unhealthy extras" online, too! :p Believe me, I checked off a bunch of goody items! :hungry: :hungry: :hungry: (OMG . . . I bought a small bag of their in-store bakery, triple chocolate chunk cookies . . . :inlove: and other yummies . . . )

The cops in our area don't even try to track them down unless they get multiple noise complaints. Luckily last night they stopped around 10:30 ish. This is the worst week of the year for our dogs, too.

Last time I ordered grocery delivery I was making freezer meals and completely overwhelmed by the idea of shopping for such a long list of groceries in the store. I was able to browse through the website on my lunch hour and twenty minutes after I got home from work they were all sitting on my porch. It was amazing!! I made fifteen freezer meals for less than $100 and didn't have to go to the store once!
