Thank you for your service DisneyBound.

rice made with plastics and silicone, it looks exactly like rice, just less transparent. but becomes like gum (squishy) when cooked.
Very toxic and prompted recalls everywhere.
There was an alert in my country because some companies were actually COMBINING the real rice with the fake one.
That's the disturbing thing to me. He can't have come up with this on his own, and there is a boy in my son's class with the same opinions and I've heard his mother talk, so I know that's where it comes from. They are very negative about foreigners. Well...I shouldn't say foreigners...they don't have a problem with ME that I know of, but I am white and not Muslim. I went to pick up DS for physical Therapy a couple of years ago and went into the locker room and this boy was pointing at a darker-skinned kid and shouting "Turk! Turk!!" and the kid wasn't even Turkish. The teacher wasn't in the room, so I told the boy to stop and that it didn't matter whether he was Turkish or not, we don't say things like that. He looked at me and went back to pointing and shouting and most of the class joined in. I was telling them to stop when the teacher came in and asked what was going on. She didn't seem NEARLY as appalled or angry as I was. I HOPE she addressed it with the class when I left, but I doubt it. It just makes my blood boil to see ANYONE being treated like that, whatever the "reason".It is disturbing when little ones spout such things. But, I was recently reminded, that they are usually just repeating what they have learned at home.
Awww....she's beautiful! My uncle always had beagles if I remember correctly. Though my mom did tell me the first one was a jack russell terrier. The doctor said sometimes caring for another living being was enough distraction that it lessened the flashbacks or something? And some dogs sense those things and can offer comfort and snap you out of it. It must have worked because he ALWAYS had a dog. Of course, I didn't know about the PTSD until I was an adult. but again...the dog must have helped...I never noticed anything. Kind of weird though...he was so sweet and gentle and such a natural caregiver, and his wife was a nervous wreck who couldn't deal with the kids or dog or housework. My uncle had to basically do EVERYTHING. And this was in a time when women did not have careers, so he worked, and did all the housework, etc. He's the one who went through the horrifying experience, being shot in a war, etc...and SHE was the nervous wreck. You can't say that everyone who has PTSD is "messed up" or that they have violent tendencies because of it. It's just not true.I also got a dog (as a companion) because when I came home from Iraq I was really depressed and lonely and felt like nobody needed me. She helped my outlook on life exponentially. She's annoying most of the time, but I love her so muchDogs have such an amazing impact on our lives!
She's been with me for 7 years now. Here she is on her birthday with her two sisters (she's the furry one without a hat):

Who knows, thats why many governments says the report is bogus. Because plastic costs more than rice.Purpose I wonder though? Rice is a cheap commodity.
Yes. And just a helpful hint--if you are asking a question or responding to somebody, could you quote their post? Sometimes this thread moves fast or the person doesn't know who you are talking to. It'll get you an answer a little faster. Is that Venice?
The latest in the saga that is my car...
AC went up. $750 repair. At least I'm not paying it. And at least with my parents and grandmother still being gone, there are three other cars I can drive.
I'm sure it is. I have been there twice in my life (50 years apart) and have really been impressed both times. It is a relaxing and historic place and so unique. Is that Venice?
Maybe he'll mow yours when he finishes his? It's 10:30 pm on a weeknight and my neighbor just started mowing his lawn![]()
What was it doing? Our little car is also at the mechanic. This will be a costly repair--unless they can't figure it out. They had to bring in their electrical specialist. I don't have a good feeling about this.
What was it doing?
I had the computer module go out on my Explorer. It was no longer available through the dealer. I was lucky to find one on Ebay and had the dealer install and program it. I lucked out with only $300 for all of it. I hope you luck out too! It's issues with the computer parts, that can only be serviced by a Chevy dealer. It's complicated. Most other types of repairs hubs does himself (background in car mechanics), but there are just certain things he can't do, due to passwords, etc. that only the dealers have. It's just really discouraging.
Ha! Well, there is that expression, "You can't take it with you!"
Now, go buy yourself a cupcake.![]()
chicken stripes.. at a movie theater? what kind of heresy is this?
I never seen a theater offering anything beyond hotdogs or nachos over here lol.
Unless it was a VIP theater and charges like an upscale restaurant.
This is something interesting I noticed, because the biggest chain in Mexico offers seat reserve on all theaters, even budget ones at no additional cost.
Very useful imho.
I wonder, how expensive was to do that in Epcot?
