Reminds me of that hilarious SPF BS that marketers keep saying.
With SPFs as high as 200 when in reality the extra protection was negligible and in some cases, their protection was uneven (aka protected for sunburn, but not for the damaging UV rays that can cause cancer)

And on a funny note. My Mom, my DD, DS and I have real issues with lotions of all types, bad allergic reactions. Welts. When we find something we stick with it. We can do Coppertone for whatever the reason. But we have the same issues with other lotions beyond sunscreen to start with.

That said, my Mom aging just doesn't get it no matter how many times we explain it to her. She tells people she is allergic to SPF in suntan lotions. We explain she doesn't grasp. It is funny to watch 'others' reactions to her explaining an allergy to SPF.

With all the sunscreen talk it's amazing some of us survived childhood. All I remember was 2, 4 and 8 Coppertone when I was little. I almost forgot they had a 0 basting oil:hilarious:

I know my Mom bought some oil based paste. My Dad always bought Coppertone for us kids and he put us under a sunlamp every spring before we headed to the Miami area. As a teen, baby oil. But we were really really soft young ladies. ;)

So.. just seen a video shared on facebook.. about a chinese mafia group making fake (very similar) shrimp made of plastic, algae and other chemicals. The product looks very similar.
Now add in to the equation the fish substitutes and even fake rice that is actually plastic and is highly toxic...
yikes.. :|

*edit*
Just notice other videos that the factory is not in china but in Vietnam.

The world is a scary place

Thank you! I'm thinking I MIGHT be coming down with something...I think I'm getting a fever blister and I only get them when I have been exposed to a lot of sun, which it's been cloudy here the past couple of days, or when I'm pregnant, which I am definitely not, or when I actually get a fever or am overly stressed. It COULD be stress, but with the achy joints, being sooooo tired...I'm thinking probably a bug.
I hope you don't get sick. Take care of yourself xoxo

I find useful things, non-Disney things at both China and Japan. I know one year I came home with Chinese

Soup Spoons

A fish ceramic fish grater that I had always wanted from around here, about $35 here, $7 in Japan pavilion-so I bought two. Mine is blue though

I've purchased lots of things in the WS over the years. I liked it cause not everything was Disney or Disney IP. Mexico I'm still collecting those ceramic skulls, fish, birds etc. but in the past I've bought some clothing items that were awesome and a very soft backpack.

Long time ago, I bought a really nice leather belt for a birthday gift, for one of my brothers, (from the Mexico pavilion). It had a very unique design with an attractive belt clip. It was the most expensive purchase I ever made in WS, but I never regretted it.

It's 10:30 pm on a weeknight and my neighbor just started mowing his lawn :banghead::arghh::cry::banghead:

:p That reminds me of a neighbor of one of my brothers. This happened years ago, while he was working long hours as a carpenter in the summer. His one day off was Sunday, and he looked forward to sleeping in.

His neighbor across the street decided that Sunday mornings at 6:00 AM, were dandy to cut his lawn. He had a very noisy lawn tractor (he rode it), and his "lawn" was twice as large as any others on the street! Bro nearly had a meltdown! :hilarious:

Royal is Pretty! I'd stay there. Planning Volcano for our next trip. Did you see they have 2 lazy rivers-one being a rapid? My kids watched the video and said they are glad they'd never have to guard that! Looks like so much fun.
I saw that now it's just going to be a matter of finding the time when we can all go someplace at the same time. Family vacations may not happen for a few years:( The one good thing about skipping a few years is when we go again it will be a trip like our last one:joyfull:

Last trip my older ds got a blanket from the Mexican pavilion(hiding it until Christmas wasn't fun) He used it every night until it got warm but is still on his bed:joyfull:

I vote Ireland. I haven't been but I have friends who've visited and a few originally from there so it's near the top of my bucket list.

It looks like Ireland too because I need to learn German first for Austria or Germany which I'm not quite that good at the language yet.

England would be expensive after you factor in the exchange rate and cost of living. For example....Bryant University (here) cost $40K for one year (12 classes) of masters and one of the schools I would go to in England cost 17,000 pounds but after everything, it will cost $38K or more depending how much you spend (they give you an estimate on cost of living).

And one of the things about Ireland, Guinness tours on the weekend :hilarious:

I thought the weekend tours wouldn't need to be said:oops:
