So I just made a reservation at Garden Grill for our upcoming trip. Never eaten there before...it better be spinning. :)

It was a number of years ago that I ate lunch there (I don't know if they still serve both lunch and dinner, or just dinner nowadays). I really liked the food (particularly the veggies, as they used a number of things such as the salads, that were grown on Disney property==some of it was hydroponic, such as the lettuce). Not only was it nice to have a revolving restaurant, but Chip and Dale came by from time to time, and we colored pictures at my table! Dale kept swiping the black crayon off my table, and blacked out the tooth of Mickey Mouse on the coloring page! Ha! Fun memories . . . :joyfull:

One Little Spark...
But I will be at the DVC at Kidani.
Why would I want to go to DTD and then to AKL again? o_O
Read what I wrote again, and then think about the fact that Jambo and Kidani share bus routes.

You don't want to go to DTD. You want to go from Jambo to Kidani, you take the DTD bus, as it stops at Jambo first, then Kidani, before heading to DTD.

If you want to go from Kidani to Jambo, you take a park bus, as they stop at Kidani first, then Jambo before heading to the parks.

Snowmageddon is striking again! :jawdrop: ;) Apparently, tomorrow is supposed to be more snow than originally predicted and now a number of areas will get up to 2 "more" feet. I live directly in the highest snowfall belt. At least I don't live in Boston, and have plenty of space to park my car here, without worrying about it getting towed during snow emergencies.

So, the mayor of Boston held a press conference this afternoon with the public works people, fire, rescue, police, etc. Because the snow piles are still so high and streets narrowed by wide snowbanks, they're shutting down the city schools again for 2 days--just to try and remove the snow that's still there now, while bracing for the additional 20-24 inches over the next day and a half. (They've been working round the clock bringing in front loaders and dumping snow into large open backed trucks, who then drive out tons of snow to snow farms. There, they use the huge melter equipment machines, some on loan from New York.)

Mayor and police commissioner said it was to the point of being a public safety issue, as rescue vehicles are still having difficulty negotiating the skinny side streets, and blocked major arteries with traffic gridlock. (Just over the past week, they've issued 1,500 tickets in the city for parking violations, drivers "blocking the box" (gridlocking intersections), not shoveling sidewalks, throwing snow out in the street, etc. They've been busy!)

Apparently the city has now broken snowfall records for large back to back storms, since they've been keeping records of this back in the late 1800s. :D

Oh, I don't think englanddg or anyone thinks that you're dumb. You probably just read his transportation directions a little too quickly, because you were excited about your upcoming trip, that's all !! :)
I just did not expect the buses to circle thru the resorts ( I was thinking one resort had a single stop, and the DVC had another different bus system)

Oh, forgot to tell you all: We booked out flight for Honolulu for June. Leaving June 19, coming home July 5 overnight. Delta, BWI to Salt Lake City, plane change, Salt Lake City to Honolulu. And then on the way back Honolulu to Atlanta, Atlanta to Baltimore. Plane to and from Hawaii have in-seat power, so I'll be able to plug in my laptop and use my nebulizer if I have to.

Now I just gotta go to the doctor to get on prescription allergy medication before the trip. So I can actually, ya know, walk outside at night and still be able to breath.
