That is amazing. I hope that other parks like that will be built in other areas of the country. Wonderful video--thank you for sharing.

I've been watching this too. My kids being heavily vested in waterparks. But my DD said something to me as she watched this awesome waterpark being launched. If they have this type of tech for waterpark wheelchairs and such short recharges, why and when will this hit mainstream wheelchairs? Those batteries are so heavy and expensive to replace.

This tech developed for waterparks could be groundbreaking for the mobility of those utilizing wheelchairs. I also agree with David Letterman (and I don't often) about body suits he has started calling attention to and advocating for. So many things that are launching that should be accelerating that are not. Just our own warriors that could utilize some of these things that are proven. Thanks @FutureCEO for posting. The more people who see all this the better. :inlove:

Happy farm market Saturday:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: I can't wait to see what will be there:hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry: James wants to go with me so wish me luck so most of the food makes it all the way home. Last time he went he ate almost a quart of snow peas before we got home:banghead:

It will get better my friend. *pixie dust*

And oy. My farmers market still is basically home businesses and a couple veggie people that are selling cold storage wholesaled bought produce at 4x what the grocery store sells it at. Frustrating.

Your situation was typical, I'm afraid. If you got your situation resolved within 2 calls, that's actually quite good, on average. The problem is not so much that people will outright lie to you, but that these investment companies are so big, with so many divisions, etc., that transactions often get held up beyond the point of the first person you speak to. Happens a lot . . . happens too much . . . :cautious:

And we all need to be wary. The laws changed this year. Like @BAChicagoGal was saying it is necessary to be aware. Because of the changes in brokarage laws they have re-purposed themselves to still be able to pull a commission. Investment bankers/financial advisers are slick. The only way they make money is by doing what you can do yourself.

@BAChicagoGal Terry Savage of the Chicago Tribune did an article over the last 2 weeks that you might want to pull up on the internet. Very insightful. She is a brutally honest financial professional that is out for the consumer vs business.

Schlitterbahn has been featured on a few Travel Channel (type) shows of some of the best waterparks. It looks like a blast!!

My kids and I were virtually pulling up together youtubes of Volcano Bay on YouTube and through various Disney websites, irony. This park has had a few glitches but dang it has so many new tech things happening. (And it isn't like they are alone, Pandora has had their glitches and Dwarf still does)

The dual lazy rivers, one traditional, one more themed and actioned to simulate a white water rafting experience looks beyond awesome. The fog and mists add so much theming. Their main pooling area is huge and has that effect that Disney Hawaii has only introduced to their various parks. Their feature slides bring Orlando into the 21st century while Disney's are seeming to be failing do to age. I really look forward to visiting Volcano.

That's helpful to know. I wouldn't have a clue how to ripen an avocado. When I've bought avocado, it's been from the local, grocery store-made (fresh, that morning) guacamole. :hungry:

The Food Channels a few years ago made me broaden my horizons. Sadly I don't watch them anymore. It became more reality TV over competitions for best practices/results.

I was out with shows that had competitors make something out of the disgusting basket items they tossed in there, so not what I gleamed from them before or worse, berating failing restaurants owners, or the unthinkable humiliating young future chefs.

I was so upset watching Master Chef Junior. Yep big people couldn't take the mean criticism but that wasn't enough, lets do the same to an 8 year old for ratings. I was out. How these chefs can live with themselves for speaking to young'ns like that are in elementary and middle school for a buck? The countless very young children they made cry for ratings?

Hope you get some good finds at the farmers market! I thought about going this morning, but we leave for vacay tomorrow (well actually fly out on Monday) it would be a waste since I won't be doing any cooking before then. I'm looking forward to going when we get back though.
Thank you and we did.:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: Safe travels and have the best trip EVER! xoxo

When we bought our house the first thing that happened was the deadbolts were changed on the house and garage. The Mom Dad and toddler went to Florida leaving behind 18 year old that was going to graduated high school in a few weeks and refused to move to Florida. He was a scary teen and I understand a PIA throughout school. No way were we going to believe he still didn't have a key.
We did the same thing for a slightly different reason. The person we bought the house from was divorced quite a few times and we didn't want to take any chances. Our locks were changed within an hour of the closing

Yes it was awful. He was in a 3 bedroom unit the first half and a 4 bedroom the second half, 2 CPs per room. They share one dresser and each have a drawer in a nightstand. 2 bathrooms for 6-8 people and a small kitchen, one sofa, one loveseat. If you want a TV ya gotta buy one or use someone else so if you multiple it out for an 8 person apartment x 26 weeks at $100 each, well yikes! They are grossing over $40,000 a year from these students per unit.
YIKES is right! I can't believe that's even legal:eek::greedy::jawdrop:

When I make pizza I will cook the dough on a cookie sheet at first for 5-7 minutes so that it starts to cook. Then I will take it out and put the toppings on and cook it right on the rack so that the crust geta crispy. Your post today inspired me to get ingredients from the supermarket to make pizza. :hungry:
This time of year when I make pizza I preheat the stones out on the grill and just put the dough on one and dress immediately, close the cover and in 5 minutes pizza:joyfull:

Just curious--about body suits--are you referring to the suits that scuba divers wear?
