I glanced at myself in the mirror and noted I needed sun. I don't sit out and tan but yikes I am pale.

I just checked the temperature here, and we're now up to 4 degrees at 5:28 a.m. Could be a heat wave today!!

Hearing you are to get lots and lots again. Oy. We are to get ice storms tomorrow. Oy again. Ice storms actually scare me more than snow storms.

Think I'll make a tea and head up to read for a bit. Up at 5:40 again tomorrow.

Again, not my mom, so I have no say.
That being said, her missionary zeal has hardened the hearts of two of her children.
If she continues to be "selfish" (their words, not mine), and she dies over there, they will never forgive her ... or God. I'm sure that the last thing Auntie wants to do is turn two of her own children completely against God.

Me, I get it. I understand her mission. As you may have discerned, I am very involved in supporting her.
But, I do think that unless her health dramatically improves, she may be more good to the ministry back here, rather than there, given that she hasn't been anywhere but to the clinic (twice) in the three weeks she's been there.

We'll see what transpires. Cuz sent the email already, and pointed all fingers at me. "You don't think I threw you under the bus, do you?"

* Uh yeah! But that's okay; I'm a big girl, I can take it.

Wow What a family dyanamic 'yall got going there. A great debate. This could be argued either way. How long has Auntie been going over there year wise? I so understand cuz concern and I appreciate Aunties passion. If she passed there it seems to be her devotion too. So glad this isn't on my plate.

If memory serves:
This is only her second trip after a 10 year hiatus.
Prior to that, she was there (by herself) more on than off for 20 years.
Plus, the entire family was there for two years in the 80's.

Again, I don't have a say in the matter; but I know it was my mother's passing that was the catalyst to go back.
I think she would be quite content to die there, as long as it wasn't a long, protracted, painful passing.

We haven't heard from her since my cousin emailed her; although this means nothing, as her hydro is spotty at the best of times, let alone her internet connection.

its enfuriating here how they announce that carp of a movie.
they say "while you wait for the MOST AWAITED MOVIE OF THE YEAR.. 50 shades of grey....HAVE THESE MOVIES SO YOU CAN FIND THE PERFECT MAN FOR YOU"

then they all show movies like RAMBO, SAW, and ultra violence action movies.
