Same here! We're supposed to have an unusually cool start to summer. GRRR! Or should I say BRRR! :grumpy:

Sympathy like.
Same here, too. It's not like it hasn't been warm here, but, I don't think we've even had very many 90's at this point, when in recent years past we had already had several 100+ degree temps by now. Our winter here was so mild, we figured our summer would be another scorcher. So far, not even close. just weird...we're used to being fried down here this time of the year...and we like it that way... :cyclops:

Still not where I'd want a home, I need a bit more space.

Long Day. It is 95. Oddly we have not had rain in over a week that made a difference. Guess spring is gone. So all the plants are in at my house which means mega watering since it is into the 90s and sunny.

I agreed a month ago to water at a good friend in towns commercial/residential property when her DD had her baby in Iowa. There isn't grass, everything is some form of plant life. 25 potted plants too. So being back today I watered, watered and watered some more. Now I am finally sitting down outside. Its cooled to 82 and a lovely breeze. Tomorrow is to be 95. Good bye pretty Spring.

Funny. Me a prairie woman. *slaps table* wine jiggles on patio table.

The friend that just became a Grandma taught me likely 80% of what I know about my outdoor related stuff. We refer to her as Mrs. GreenJeans. Likely half of my plants came from her families property, mostly homes but my DD rents one of their apartments that is beyond lovely.

We live in a quaint little town. Overnight Friday-Saturday my DD Carbon detector went off ever 30 seconds between 5am on.  Changing batteries didn't work it just read ERROR End of Unit Life Expectancy. She finally just yanked the batteries. In the afternoon we just walked the unit down 6 properties and handed it to my friends Mom and her Brother. They thanked her and said they will go get her a new one. Tiny towns that you've lived in for 30 some years have some drawbacks but also their rewards. :inlove:

Hitting 90's today, and they have winter coats? I think if I had seen them, someone would have locked me away. I don't think I could stop hysterical laughter. Or, I might not be able to see for a bit.

The store is new to Woodfield. I kinda get why they skipped the summer line. Everything is expensive but not completely out of reach. Very good quality. I saw a full zip hoodie about $65. More than I ever paid for a hoodie even at Disney, where I topped at $50. But it was so cute, heavy heavy weight. I could see me getting real good use out of one in the nicer days of October-November or Early Spring. Still I didn't buy one.

But they did have mostly fall/winter line out. Bad week to launch when the weather is to be in the upper 90's

Swimming here is worse. In the water every day around 6 AM, year round. Not sure how those kids go on vacation. Oh wait, the families that have kids who do this, don't.

My kids lived and breathed Chlorine. My kids and their Dad were out the door for high school swim team at 445am. I was tucked in my bed. I loved high school. No lunches. Just gave them lunch money every Sunday for the week. Done.

Can I tell you how much I hated 15 years of packing school lunches?

She can do both. It means at halftime, she will do the poms routine, run across the field, where someone is holding her trombone, and march the halftime show in her pom uniform, then run back to join poms for 3rd quarter. Poms stay on sidelines for the football game, so she won't be sitting (well, really standing, the band doesn't sit) with band.

God Bless her little soul. :inlove:

What in the world is Poms??
images

In high school we had Poms more of a dance back then and cheerleaders. Poms were more elite. Cheerleaders had more of athletic feel to their routines where our Pom's had more of a dance feel. I was not allowed either, athletics or nothing was my folks thoughts, we were to do not cheer on someone else doing.

I wonder if the new review will have American Airlines and United Airlines replacing Spirit as top most hated airlinelol

Not likely here anyhow. United and American have hubs here, Spirit is small potatoes. Business travel out of major airports isn't going to play around with the likes of Spirit. It is more the vacation travel in this area, looking for a bargain and getting far less than you bargained for in the long run.Spirit here is more low cost by deception.
