My day! While I am extremely aware of how much worse things can be, let me share my day so far. It started last night really, I was working and during my lunch break I had a Granola Bar.. Healthy stuff right? From now on anything even remotely healthy will be avoided.

Anyway I bite into it and hear this cracking sound and a little pain. Didn't think much of it, it thought that whatever I bit is what made the noise, but as the rest of the evening progressed my mouth started to ache. By the time I got home, it took some heavy duty meds to even get a little sleep. So this morning instead of calling for an appointment I went to my Dentists office. They took me right in. Result of that healthy granola bar was a split tooth front to back and all the way into the root. End result of that was another tooth extraction (I'm starting to become a stereotypical redneck) and a bone graft in the event I want an implant. It's another molar as well, so soon, pudding will be the main course for me.

Speaking of Meds., I was given Oxycontin for something else, and they said I could use it for this as well. Sorry, but, I have no idea why it is such a controlled drug. I hate the way it makes me feel. I feel like I'm in a drunken stuper. I don't want to walk, I just want to sit in a chair and stare ahead. It isn't a good feeling, just a helpless one. I hate that feeling, so as of tonight I am off the hard stuff and sticking with the less potent stuff like Aleve. Haven't even had any of that yet. I just lost the matching molar on the other side last January.

Not a chance! I'm way to old to worry about it and it seems that no matter what I do, it will not keep me alive so I might as well enjoy myself.

I was talking with my dentist today about aging. She was upset because she was about to turn 40 and her assistant was about to turn 30. I mentioned that next month I will be hitting 69. They both quieted down and decided that there was no reason to comment any further. I used my, now famous, story about how much people spend to get fat sells injected in their faces to get rid of wrinkles. I said why go to all that expense just have another plate of spaghetti, does the same thing, is more enjoyable and if wildly less expensive.

Good grief! Woof!
Again, who comes up with this carp, and how the heck does it even get approved...?!?!?!

Both the Animal Kingdom and DTD/Springs have always been notorious for running very late. Understatement. This was devised to keep the park buses on schedule. Tossing all off the buses and consolidating at Springs and AK. In theory it is a solution. It isn't new, they tried the same thing years ago it failed then too.

When we got dump'd off our bus last fall at Springs leaving Typhoon we waited a good 45 minutes if not longer to load onto a bus back to POR after waiting about 30 minutes at Typhoon, plus we still had the actual ride back to POR. My patience level was GONE! I felt like I was in Chicago Train, bus and a transfer bus to reach Navy Pier. OMG!

Edit: This could possibly kinda work if the shuttles were contentious. Not waiting 30-45 minutes.

By the way, if you are an AP holder at Disney you can now opt to buy a 60 day internal loop bus pass to shuttle from behind stage park to park. Only $59.99 upcharge. :geek:

Yep, ultimately, I really don't care for the most part, as we've never been to a Disney water park (our trips are only a week, and we have enough of them close enough to us here). know they need to always be evaluating processes, methods, etc. for all operations to try to make things as efficient as possible for all, involved, but, woof!...they sure can bollocks it up too much of the time.

Oh yay! Yet another upcharge...!!!!! :joyfull: ;)

44 hours???? Is that how far it is from Austin? 22 hours? That is rough. Makes our 13-14 hour drive seem real easy.:D

I don't know why I was surprised @donaldtoo road travel would be 22 hours, more than even us. 18-19 hours, no traffic, no stops. :arghh: I haven't driven to Orlando since my late teens. With vacation day allotments it just never worked for us.

Actually the farthest I've ever driven is Cleveland once (fly now) as that is where my Sis went to law school that stayed put and before that to Cincinnati area as she went to school in Oxford Ohio. In reality by the time I drive to an airport, arrive 2 hours early, encounter delays, land and commute to her, likely there isn't much of time difference between driving and flying-in flight time just a tad over an hour. :banghead: Flying isn't as simple as it once was.

Problem is, with some people, another plate of spaghetti could go elsewhere.. :P

Lots of times writing is a visual thing. I was born cross eyed. My kids were not but had weak eye muscles that make eyes at times not work together and each eye seeing a different thing. Another warning sign is kids pushing their faces too close to their paper or book they are reading which forces the eyes to see the same thing at the same time, these are kids that often loose their place while reading. I so wish every kid had to see an ophthalmologist for a real visual screening to make sure the eyes were functioning correctly together not just a chart to see if they could read the letters on the chart.
So many special ed issues are more physical eye related than cognitive.

Yep, our 1lb. 4oz. "Miracle Matthew" DS had 2 operations for those eye muscles (plus the premature retinopathy while he was still in the NICU). He still needs to wear a specialty prescription, but, fortunately, can read very well and comprehend most of what he reads. :)

We have them here but they are an East Coast hit. The flavor is awesome, they have a great smoked taste even when they are not BBQ'd. I have an issue with the texture, they have a more mushie texture.

Oh yes, I definitely know about Nathan's, have just never had one.
The ones I used to cook and serve at all those UT football, basketball, concert, etc., concessions back in the day had superior flavor to anything we ever got in a grocery store at the time. And, the sausages for the wraps were even better...!!!!! :hungry:
All I need is one dog on a fresh bun, and one sausage on a fresh tortilla right now...!!! :inlove:
