Oh my. Sympathy like.
Hope she isn't in too much pain, and the docs can get her better, soon.
Prayers.

I couldn't make it to the event this morning. There was some yard work that I was gonna' save 'til later, but, we have storms predicted for this afternoon, so I needed to take care of it this morning. I don't mind yard work so much, but, I would have much rather helped out with the event.
We have yard work to do too, but neither one of us wants to do it. Want to come over?! I'll pay in beer and hubs is going to grill hamburgers tonight.
Just booked a flight, and I'll grab a cab from the airport to y'all's place...
"Yard Work for Beer and Burgers or Bust"...!!!!!
Don't spend it all in one place, unless it's FLORIDA
Awesome!
But I think you are April Foolin' me!
I'd rather not discuss it
Morning, What happened to spring? It's 11 and windy Tonight's dinner groundhog bangers and mash with a few pints to wash it down and we all know I do not drink beer
Wait, it's that easy?!!??!!? We have beer and can grill up some burgers, too! Maybe the yard will be ready for workin' in in a few weeks (so you can plan ahead). Right now, it is more of a swamp still.Just booked a flight, and I'll grab a cab from the airport to y'all's place...

My DS 13 wants to be an Imagineer one day. He even wrote one a letter 2 years ago to find out how to become one. Sad thing is he never got a reply back.
DD15 has a flair for everything and that is the problem. It is hard for her to focus on one thing.
Disney University, hmmm, love that! That is something to remember. Putting that in the memory banks.

I opened Google maps on my phone to this...

All the streets are in Spanish, and then there's Ms. Pacman hanging out there. So I clicked on Ms. Pacman...

Very funny, Google.
Happy April 1.
I read all the time in the car. Lots of trips Ohio-Texas-Ohio when I was a younger. We had a station wagon when I was little that had two bench seats in the back that would fold up from the floor and we could face each other. We also had a little black and white tv that we'd lay down and watch while on the road. Of course this was all before seatbelt laws.
I remember those. We had Mad Libs sometimes. Anyone remember those?
Gotten, past tenseWoof! This winter is really gettin' to ya'...!!!
My driver's ed was more practical no blood on the highway films, but picture a middle aged chunky gym teacher trying to teach S ed with WW2 era social disease filmsAs a kiddo, I remember riding in the car with no seat belts on ever, although lap belts were in our one car we had at the time. The car seat my youngest brother rode in was nothing more than a cheap, aluminum-framed, vinyl coverd foam thing that hooked behind the back seat cushion.
I remember riding in the beds of pickups all the time, too.
I took it all much more seriously after Drivers Ed class in HS, and watching all those graphic "Blood on the Highway" films they showed us.
Although there are some wrecks that happen where nothing could save ya', I haven't not strapped on a seatbelt since.
