To piggyback on this post, as I returned home today from work I spotted this plant in the front flower bed. Perhaps Spring is around the corner!
We had daffodils several weeks ago. The cold temps have made them dry up. We are more worried about the peach and apple trees around here. They were all busting out buds. Probably be next week before our neighbors know how much damage the cold has cost them.I DID have daffodils blooming prior to this last blast of winter. Poor things are probably frozen solid now.
That is soo cool!! I am a map fanatic too!OK @ajrwdwgirl @MySmallWorldof4 @donaldtoo @MinnieM123
This is my favorite map. I bought it at Barnes & Noble. It folds just like a road map (B&N actually has all sorts of maps) This one was meant for me as it is also laminated. Love it! Oddly, they left off a resort.

Keep a stiff upper lip, I don't know how many times I've heard that this or that was harmed by weather and then, by some miracle the crop is fine, but, because of the "disaster" prices are higher. Back in the dark ages, just after we made the transition from stone tablets to parchment, we used to get mechanical pencils. No ever explained how they worked and I can remember going though a number of them before I realized that. a) if you pulled off the eraser just under it was an additional supply of leads, and b) you could buy replacement leads for them. I blame my parents... they let me down on a basic life lesson concerning getting the lead out.I used the mechanical on HS too. They seemed to last forever so I bought my kids mechanical pencils one year. They must make them different now because it seemed they were out of lead in no time. We went back to those Ticonderoga #2.
Wow how rich were you to have these high faluting "mechanical pencils" we had to make do with charcoal from the fire. And when i say fire i mean the fires we had to clean every morning for the above stairs peopleBack in the dark ages, just after we made the transition from stone tablets to parchment, we used to get mechanical pencils. As in food gorging? or as in bad experience? When I first went to Epcot, Canada was a Cafeteria called LeCellier. Didn't go over well.

But, also, I'm sure everyone just wants the best for you, although I know it sure seems a bit overeactive and misguided on their part, to us, sometimes.
Your doctor, and your hubby especially, are just trying to cover all bases to keep you as healthy as possible for as long as possible...that's a good thing!
But, again, no less of a PITA when we could use just a little bit of chill time with a nice adult beverage of our choice.
Life's too short as it is...!!!
All joking aside, I really hope all of the crazy can be settled soon.
As always, sincerest prayers.
Back in your cage they're not on your dietThats kinda uncalled for
