yikes, no bueno!Lady fell very ill with bad vitals. A Doc that actually had good diagnostic skills asked her if she had been eating licorice. Turns out she ate a pound of Dutch salt black licorice.
Messes with kidney's blood pressure, hormones, drops potassium and interferes with meds.
Note this is real black licorice not the fake stuff.
good to know the doc found it quickly.

You know what is sad? most news sites that mentioned this new movie.. is full of misogynist men comments and dumb kitchen jokes.I bet the New Ghostbuster Movie due out next summer with an all female cast could be fun.

I'd like to start an urgent Fund Me.
I'd like to buy an airline ticket to Fort Worth or Dallas and get on the next plane.
I so want to sit in the Audience of the Gustine Texas school board meeting as parents demand accountability for the partial strip search of some of their boy and girl elementary school students even after some pleaded not to have to lower their underwear but were told they must to find who pooped in the gym.
As a board member for many years this kinda stuff is a nightmare. You're the buck stops here and responsible for all these twits. The poor judgement to believe doing this to a group of young children knowing the overwhelming majority are innocent and you opt to humiliate them anyhow? I find it even worse that when the superintendent response to the parents demand that someone be accountable, "maybe we can find a much better way to solve this."
So the district will go to the extent of strip search children and inspect their under garments but wants something better than accountability for the staff. His head needs to roll too.
Hmpf. That sentence made me want to be a silent observer in the audience.

I don't care so much that it's all women, it's more that they are remaking it at all that I'm having a hard time with. Ghostbusters is one of my favorite movies of all time, and you can never get any better than Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd and Harold Ramis. Never. It might be okay, but I'm going to compare it to the original the whole time I'm watching it. Maybe they'll surprise me, but I don't have high hopes.

Sure. Anything an asthmatic or someone with respiratory issues inhales this glitter dust would escalate the breathing complications. Don't you remember all the problems with Spanish people throwing Flour and having Flour fights a few years ago and then the stupidity spread throughout the world.

My favorite movie is the Original Parent Trap, it still is. I do however like the remake of the Parent Trap, just not as much as the original. I feel that way about anything I really love and then there is a remake. I am fond of I will always love you by Dolly, while the remake by Whitney was very good I still liked Dolly's version so much more.

Anyone see the Disneyland 60th anniversary announcement? I'm not a big fan of the use of projections and screens but the show looks awesome. Hopefully it won't be too kiddish. Plus they are updating/change World of Colour already. They get all the fun stuff 
Though I don't like the parade. Too many flashing lights.

I followed along as it was happening last night. I'm so excited about all of it, especially WoC. It's going to be hosted by Mickey and all about Walt...the way it should be! Richard Sherman has also written the end song for the Forever, the new fireworks show. I'll be there the first week of the celebration. Yep, properly made, and even decently made, French onion soup and lasagna are awesome. Both, perfect meals all on their own.
