Sorry, it left the menu about two years ago, so Red Robin has not been anywhere on my radar since then. Maybe it's back by demand, I don't know, because I have nothing else that I want from there, so I just don't go anymore.
I so wish they had left it on there. I love French onion soup. I ocassionally get the variety at Panera that is good but improperly made, but otherwise I pretty much have to get it at WDW or a local diner that has it.

I think I've mentioned my love of French Onion soup in the past. Apparently, it was my first table food. According to my mother, I was 10 months old when we were in Maui and my mom had ordered it. I apparently decided I no longer wanted my baby food. I wanted her soup. And then I got mad when she wouldn't give me the onions. :hilarious: Well, I've had plenty of onion soup to make up for that since then.

Wrong type of cheese (it's supposed to be gruyere) but not bad overall

I have a box here - that was my snack for lunch today! :)

(box of Nutty Bars, not Twinkies...)

When my son was in college he went through boxes and boxes of Nutty Bars.

When he was in Disney college program I'd send him boxes of Nestle Crunch bars, the boxes you buy at Sams Club. I think the chocolate and sugar kept him going. He didn't sleep much, he was busy having too much fun.

You kinda scare me. My DD loves French Onion soup too. And by the way she is taking an online class in Spanish 5.
She said it is all coming back to her. Right now she knows enough to know when the some of patrons at the water park are saying bad things to her or faking her out. Then she goes and finds her buddy Diego shares and he knocks them down a few pegs. Guy friends are great.

I took 6 years of Spanish all the way up to AP Spanish 6. Got a 4 on the exam, which is how I placed into this Spanish, 302 (I skipped 301). I've known very few people to get more than a 4 on the exam, minus native speakers. I knew one girl who did, but she came from a program that started her off in elementary school.

I do love listening to unsuspecting Spanish speakers in WDW. Only one time I got behind this group of Spanish speakers at Shark Reef. 30 minute wait. Nothing but arguing. Then when we got to the front, they said they spoke no English. At that point, I was so tired of listening to petty arguments that I did not offer to help. They tracked down a Spanish-speaking CM.

And french onion soup is probably the greatest thing on the planet, other than lasagna.

Need some suggestions here...

Freshman year of college, I kept snacks in the back of my car. They were not healthy, and I eventually stopped doing that because I was gaining too much weight

Now, my schedule is necessitating that I do that again. But I don't want to keep junk in the back there (well, maybe some junk, but not 100% junk). Anyone have suggestions? It needs to keep in the back of the car (nothing that needs refrigeration), needs to be nut-free (shared equipment is not an issue), and of course, should be tasty. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a massive cookie jar in the the kitchen filled with all sorts of on the go stuff. I'll take a look in the morning when I go down there and ask DD what else comes to mind. We bought it all while she and her brother were in college and now both of them I know keep stashes in their desks too. Most of the stuff is filler to get them through till a real meal.

Granola/cereal bars. I eat the Quaker oatmeal bars when I need a boost. :)
Those work wonders, love the chocolate ones!

Unfortunately there is no stove in my car, and correct me if I'm wrong, but those are better cooked. :p
Well, you can always get an car engine "grill" and make bacon strips there ;)

Do they have microwaves that are student accessible? Or are you pretty much stuck with room/car temperature stuff?
Dont know if you guys have it in the states, but here we love to have fried platanitos.
Its like potato chips, except they are made of banana slices.

It depends on how you drive it. Winter Garden is right behind the Magic Kingdom near Windermere, due North out the back (FLE) of MK.
I seen the google maps and is still waaay up there.. the other red robin by Seaworld seems closer..
Also.. remember that I DO NOT DRIVE :>

You mean "español" And I now expect all of your future posts to be in this language.
Agree with this!
plus she can practice your spanish with me.

Thats insane.. my arteries clogged just by watching that!

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
We have a 5 Guys just down the road that we have yet to try. Used to love Jason's Deli French onion soup, but, even though we have one about 5 min. away, we haven't been there in, what seems like, forever.
So much food, so little time.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again - all Five Guys needs to make it perfect, are hand-made milkshakes.

that happens in all languages imho.
I seen the same with some Asian (probably Korean) who where speaking fluid english then what I think was korean.. then they refused to speak in english to the concierge in Vancouver.

Surprisingly, the concierge spoke like 5 languages if I remember correctly (I was surprised how quickly she wiggled between what I think was chinese, english, french and German).
