I kind of wish I had been there to see that scene! You throwing a shovel up, then your hubs on a ladder and Jack just running around barking at you. The way I picture it in my head is a great comedy scene!
Ha! Yah, just another "average" day at our house!
Not to mention, the ladder he was using was an old rickety, wooden one, and he was standing at the top rung. The 17 foot shovel is a bit unwieldy to begin with, let alone on top of a shaky ladder.
Then to top it off, he looked down at one point and his eyeglasses fell off down into the snow! So he's standing up on this old ladder with the 17-foot extension shovel, and he's blind as a bat with his eyeglasses down in the snow!
I checked the horses, there is no sign that they getting ready to shed their winter coats!!!It's 2 in the afternoon, it's dark out and ice and snow are coming down.Come here little groundhog
It's also a half day for the boys, JOY

Thank you! I'm going nowhere tonight, but with all the ice this year I am beginning to feel like a shut in. My dh is staying late at work in hopes the road crews can clean the slop up before he leaves.

Many of them shared childhood stories about valentines in school, and giving out candy, etc. They were gabbing about this all day. Some were comparing the sayings on their candy with others--some had a swap going on! HA!
