There's been a lot of water that's passed under the bridge, since the Tooth Fairy visited me as a child; but, I seem to recall that I got a quarter. And yes, I was thrilled with that. I guess the rate of inflation has gone up a lot more than I would have expected -- $20 from the Tooth Fairy now??!! :jawdrop:

I remember getting a quarter to a dollar from the tooth fairy. I think the last couple of teeth that I got money for were the dollar. I think $20 is a little too much. I actually remember when my last tooth fell out...my family was driving back from a WDW trip and I think we were somewhere in Illinois and I was eating a Snickers bar and out it came. No tooth fairy for that one, perhaps she spent too much at WDW.

My daughter got a dollar but she spent it on stuff she would have asked me for a dollar anyway.

Hubs and I are off to see one of the best movies of all time....."Singin' in the Rain". It is one of my favorite movies and because of Debbie Reynolds death TCM is sponsoring a nationwide showing of the film today and on January 18. I thought it would be fun to see it on the big screen. We have to drive up to the area by the Mall of America to see it but it should be fun. Unfortunately, it is because of a sad event that I get to do something fun though....have a great afternoon everyone!

Thanks for asking, but, nope, not yet.
Life and scheduling issues have again caused more fun.
It's the new year, thus we haven't come close to meeting any healthcare deductibles that would cover the MRI to the tune of just under $2,000. And, we just payed $1,000 for an unexpected car repair, to boot.
Again, it's not life-threatening, just very annoying. But, I've dealt with it this long, so I'll continue to as long as I need to.
Life's a kooky ride sometimes, but, as I've said before, no pity party here...others have it way worse than I.
I hope you get this done soon.
