I made Boston Terrier Christmas cookies last night :) I'm really happy with the results.

OMG!!! You are talented!!! Those are really fun--must have been a lot of detail work to do those.

I decided to take time out, for fun on here. Love all the funny pics. I see a light at the end of the tunnel and I'm feeling very good about that. Sorry about your Mom, we always went out for Thanksgiving. We don't do that anymore. Christmas was a snack day. Cookies, (not as many as @figmentfan423 ) lol. Different meatballs, in two or three crock pots. I made sweet and sour meatballs with peppers and pineapple. Boar's head black forest ham sandwiches on rolls. Cheese platter, with several kinds of olives. A pecan and olive spread. No major cooking. SIL loves my baked beans, mac and cheese, deviled eggs, cookies, a fudgie dessert. I'm making that, plus my sweet and sour meatballs, the boy's love those. Finally for the daughter chocolate less cookies. Think of a chocolate chip batter without the chips. She can't have chocolate.

Wow, Bets! Your menu sounds delicious. :hungry: Oh by the way, Merry Christmas to Mr. Bets. (I haven't mentioned him for quite some time.) And of course, Merry Christmas to you! :)

Problem is some of it you don't even know they are doing. They are watching your body language and deciding from that what type of personality you have. They have all turned into amateur psychologists except that they don't have a clue what they are doing, but, it's only because they read a book once. They are so proud of themselves for their subtle way of evaluating people. They are, of course, wrong as often as they are right, but, they only acknowledge what was guessed correctly. It stems from two things. One, they are to lazy to ask questions and, two, are not capable of intellectually asking the right questions and then even evaluating the answers they get. I worked for a person once that waited until after the person left and then ran to the window to see what form of transportation they were using. Inside her head, she had a formula that she relied on to determine certain things about the person by what type of vehicle they used. She would go on and on bragging about how clever she was while the rest of us held in our laughter.

To me the actuality is that within the first two minutes of any interview subconsciously dictates ones likelihood of getting a job. If the chemistry is there the answer to any questions asked or physical movements will be evaluated positively and it will then just boil down to qualifications, but, not always. I used to never ask questions like... Where would you like to be in five years? Probably because as I got older the only answer I had was, upright on this side of the grass. They are stupid questions with answers designed strictly to satisfy the questioner.

Amen, brother!!! :joyfull:

Hey folks, you will appreciate this. So hubby and I were planning for our June trip and we had some dates in our phone and went by those when we made our flight reservations on Monday night. Well, tonight I went onto the WDW to make dining reservations as our 180 day window opened. Well guess what? Our window opened two days ago! Now here is the kicker, our flight reservations were made 2 days after we had booked to arrive at Disney!!!:banghead: So I hopped on the phone to our airline, SunCountry and 45 minutes I got our flight switched.
We ended up losing one day of our WDW booking so we will have to change that. There was no cost to change because we had splurged an extra $88 at the time of booking and went to first class. I can't believe what boneheads we were. :banghead: :)
