I made Boston Terrier Christmas cookies last night :) I'm really happy with the results.

Awesome

I'm glad he made over this okay. They seem to be opening more and more. Florida has over 4,000 of them. I learned this on the weather channel.

They put curbs and storm sewers in and it had to cross a main state road. I think they call it boring???where they use a cork screw type machine that makes a tunnel they can slip a sewer pipe in. The road was completely removed on each side of the main road. They filled the sides of our road in with gravel but the storm sewer area on our side of the main road never got backfilled with gravel so the road just crashed down that day about 15 feet deep by about 50 feet wide. Stupid slipshot contractor.

Hey folks, you will appreciate this. So hubby and I were planning for our June trip and we had some dates in our phone and went by those when we made our flight reservations on Monday night. Well, tonight I went onto the WDW to make dining reservations as our 180 day window opened. Well guess what? Our window opened two days ago! Now here is the kicker, our flight reservations were made 2 days after we had booked to arrive at Disney!!!:banghead: So I hopped on the phone to our airline, SunCountry and 45 minutes I got our flight switched.
We ended up losing one day of our WDW booking so we will have to change that. There was no cost to change because we had splurged an extra $88 at the time of booking and went to first class. I can't believe what boneheads we were. :banghead: :)
I'm glad everything worked itself out. One of the things we liked about going in August instead of our usual June trip was no planning over the holidays.

My office really seems to have gotten into the holiday spirit this year. Some of us (including me) have decorated their offices. Others (also including me) are spreading the Christmas cheer with goodies. I walked in this morning to more candy on my desk- luckily, we finished our Biggest Loser challenge last Friday, so we can eat whatever we want this week! :joyfull:

There's just something about the winter holiday spirit :inlove: Whether it's getting cards in the mail, or walking into one of the office kitchens and finding a huge tub of delicious chocolate crack. I've only been here for a little under 2 years (over 2 if you count the internship), but I really love the season of giving here.

Update. A coworker just gave me a lottery ticket. :) Though considering how we work at a nonprofit, I guess any earnings should probably be given as a philanthropic gift, right? ;)
Well, if your coworker had wanted that they would have donated that same amount to a charity and put it in your name. What they wanted was for you to be fabulously wealthy so that you could buy the newest in bonnets for your race horses, and move to an island in the Caribbean. Do you want to disappoint that coworker after they have put that much thought into choosing a gift for you? I say absolutely not. Instead invite them to dinner on your yacht and pay for their cab fare to the dock.

I was one scratch away from winning $20. Alas, it was not to be. So close.
