Well, we certainly wouldn't want to deprive you of something to complain about! :joyfull:

Hope your mouth feels better soon. Sometimes they give you pain medicine to use for the first day or two--just depends on how easily the tooth comes out, and if it's a molar, canine incisor, or one of the smaller front teeth..
It was a molar and she worked at it for awhile. At one point she said I don't know what it is holding onto, but, I'm not giving up. Finally, and don't ask me to explain why, they had a wedge in my mouth to hold it open wider and she told the assistant to pull it forward so my mouth would close a bit. The minute she did that the tooth popped right out easily. Don't understand it and don't care... it's gone. I have taken a couple of Aleve's but really have had no reason to because they were precautionary, stay a head of it doses. It's been 12 hours now and nothing in the line of anymore then a very dull ache. They gave me prescription for Vicodin, but, I already have a bottle of oxycodone that I never used from the kidney stone incident. I'm not going to spend more money on a prescription that I won't use. I think the oxycodone will cover any problem I might encounter.

I just looked at the weather on my phone, it says it feels like -20 outside. Why do I live here again? I think Spring and summer put me into a denial that weatherwise it isn't so bad here.:cautious::cold:
My finance professor used to live out in your neck of the woods. She just moved here, and when we started complaining it was cold, she told us we didn't know what cold is. She's probably right.:joyfull:

Saturday looks like it will be another fun weather day for me NOT! Once again it seems my house will be near the rain/ice /snow line:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: It's hard to make plans if you don't even know if you'll be able to leave your house. Even harder in my case because my dh is on the list to be in on Saturday, he may or may not have mandatory time so I'm going to pack a bag for him tomorrow just in case he has to go in Friday and stay until the roads are clear:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: He was originally supposed to have a 3 day weekend this week:mad: He swapped out with somebody who needs this weekend to Christmas shop:joyfull:
90% chance of rain and snow on Saturday for me :grumpy:

Not even the Cosmic Ray's, food and a show for about $18 a person vs $650. No way I'm ever going to pay that even if I hit the lottery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same here!
But, if we ever did win the lottery (although, frankly, I can't even remember the last time we bought any tickets :cyclops:), I'm pretty sure we'd at least spring for one a' those Pizza Hut bungalows at the Poly for a few weeks, just for grins...!!! :D ;)

Speaking of pets, a little while ago, I wasplaying with Belle. I noticed her claws needed clipping, and I said, "Oh, you need your claws clipped." She stopped playing and looked up at me with such an offended look. I got her to play again and told her she needs her claws clipped. And I got the offended look again. And then I tried a third time. Same results.

I guess it is time to stop using that phrase around her. :hilarious:

Thanks, I hoping you are still getting warmer weather. Nothing in winter is warm. It's windy and cold today. I have on the fireplace, as it has a heater. And the Christmas tree lights. Let's just say I'm in a happy mood! I couldn't hear our door bell anymore, so hubby bought a door alarm when he comes and goes. He has it set for the Christmas Season....It plays We Wish you a Merry Christmas, when he leaves and comes home. Now, I'm not startled when he comes in....

Many years ago in high school I dated a girl whose mother was deaf from birth. They, of course, all signed (mom, pop, her, and her 2 younger sibs). Plus mom could read lips and also speak (like Marlee Matlin).
I remember that there were lamps around the house that would blink when the phone was ringing.
I can't remember the exact technology, but, I think whoever was callings words would show up on a screen on the phone and she could talk back to them, and then if the caller had a similar setup they could also type back and forth.
It was all a pretty cool setup, though...! :)
