Saturday looks like it will be another fun weather day for me NOT! Once again it seems my house will be near the rain/ice /snow line:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: It's hard to make plans if you don't even know if you'll be able to leave your house. Even harder in my case because my dh is on the list to be in on Saturday, he may or may not have mandatory time so I'm going to pack a bag for him tomorrow just in case he has to go in Friday and stay until the roads are clear:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: He was originally supposed to have a 3 day weekend this week:mad: He swapped out with somebody who needs this weekend to Christmas shop:joyfull:

We are supposed to get another blast of snow Saturday. I am not happy about that, I was hoping to get out and do some shopping. Maybe Sunday will be okay.

Not a major problem, but, I'm having trouble finding anything to complain about this morning, other then my still numb mouth, so it seemed like a good target.

Well, we certainly wouldn't want to deprive you of something to complain about! :joyfull:

Hope your mouth feels better soon. Sometimes they give you pain medicine to use for the first day or two--just depends on how easily the tooth comes out, and if it's a molar, canine incisor, or one of the smaller front teeth..

May I suggest you string some popcorn and hang some candy canes? Perhaps a few popcorn ball ornaments and a string of fruitloop for color?

That should get Jack in the Christmas Spirit.

It would never make it past the kitchen to the tree! And he loves his food--really gets his face into it and then "wears" his meal around for a while until he realizes he looks stupid. :p

We have a feels like temperature of -13 and when the dog came in she was prancing weird. Her little paws got a little frozen. I felt bad for her, so I'm sure she was thinking what that little dalmatian in your picture was thinking.

Do they make booties for a little dog? We had booties for my previous dog, and she hated them! HA! She'd try to shake them off, bite them off, anything to get them off her paws! Other dogs don't mind them at all. It also protects their paws from the salt on the road.

I never had that combo either. I suggest we stop by @Songbird76 's house tomorrow, and she can give each of us a slice. A glass of milk with that would also go nicely! :)

Sounds good to me!

Kapono does have boots, but she usually wears them on walks not to go do her business outside. She doesn't really like the boots but I like that they protect her paws. Maybe she will wisen up and not go to the far end of the yard to potty. But she is a little OCD and must do certain things a certain way all the time so she will go to the far end of the yard everytime.

I don't know, they are showing the temperatures bottoming out on Sunday and being the coldest day yet! :(

Yup, time to break out the thermals. It always amazes me when I see people walking along on a really frigid day--and not dressed properly for it. (I love cold, but dress in layers for it.) I saw a teenage boy walking up to the high school, and he had on long shorts and a light hoodie, sneakers (no socks) and no gloves. The temperature was around 10 degrees that morning. He looked like he was really suffering, but probably thought it wasn't cool to bundle up like the Michelin Man!
