I don't think a drink or even two a day will hurt. For me, that equal's two ounces. I usually have a little after lunch, and a little after dinner.....It's a gastric....when you get to my age ; you will understand!

I hope not! I had one relative who liked his daily boiler maker and never had any problems but he only made it into his early 90s

Yes very close. First project whole hog, followed by lasagna( I make 4 versions regular with sausage, meatballs and cheese, just cheese, gf/df with meat, gf/df, oops make that 6 veggie both regular and gf/df, I've been known to make all 6 for parties)

This goes for @Goofyernmost also. Some gyms offer balance classes for seniors and they're even fully covered by some health insurance policies as they're considered preventative.

That's a great idea. I've been told it's hard to help me with only hearing out of one ear. I do have a cane when that is necessary. xoxo

You may have it covered even if it's not in your basic coverage because you may be able to get a prescription due to a medical condition where you may need it more. It may be worth looking into. If nothing else it gets you out into a social situation and moving

DD is home sick from school today. Well, not so much sick as just not feeling well. I think it's stress and she just needs a day off, so I kept her home. We made Tostadas and watched the movie Tini, which was on the Disney Channel here on Saturday and we recorded it. Nice relaxing day.

I'm looking to relax tomorrow, hubby is taking the car in for maintenance. I will try to sleep in....

I hope her stress ends soon. It's not good to be under stress for long....and during the holiday's it's terrible. Prayer's for her....

Have you ever had pumpkin pecan pie? I'm not a fan of pecans, so I don't like it, but my mom always made it at Thanksgiving because she wasn't a huge fan of pumpkin pie, nor of pecan pie, but the combination was something she and my brother both loved.

I like both pumpkin and pecan but I've never had them together. Too me I don't know how that would go together, but a lot of weird stuff goes together sometimes.

I hate hate hate being cold.

We have a feels like temperature of -13 and when the dog came in she was prancing weird. Her little paws got a little frozen. I felt bad for her, so I'm sure she was thinking what that little dalmatian in your picture was thinking.

I think she is, thanks! She seems ok anyway. Monday she was SUPER pale, but I was working and as she didn't have a fever, I had her go to school and told her she could call if she really felt cruddy. But she didn't. And yesterday she had to have a talk with her history project group about the work distribution because 2 of the girls didn't do their parts and wanted DD and the other girl to give them theirs. So they had to work that out, so she had to be there. So I let her stay home today to rest and unwind. She seems much better for it! She puts tremendous pressure on herself and gets so stressed that she can't sleep and she gets headaches.

I'm going through the headaches and lack of sleep too. Tell her she is not alone....I hope she can adjust...it looks like the other girls are taking advantage of your daughter. I hope it get's better for her.

But...but....if it's 100, you can't crawl in bed with a heated mattress cover and snuggle up in the blankets with a good book!

I'm doing this tonight. It does help to recharge the batteries!

My mom has a sturdy tree that rotates. Yesterday her baby cat decided to grab ahold of a lower branch with its teeth and was being dragged around in a slow circle. Then it decided the lowest branches were a good backscratcher. Silly cat.

So funny, I would have loved to see that .
