Yep, we had a lot of Corelle at home when I was a kiddo.
My Mom did too. It was white with this ugly avcado green tiny floral print. I hated it. My MIL still has hers, larger earth tone flowers. I get the durability thing but I'm so not a fan.

After that, you can fill the bottles with sand or pebbles and still use them as door stops...!
Unless you are using those wine bottle stoppers to keep the doors from blowing open in this frigid weather we have zero use for door stops at the moment.

Congrats, well done! I hope it's a fun group with lots of yummy healthy snacks.I hope my new job (starting January) has good yummies like that! (That's right--it's a full moon tonight -- it's called the Cold Full Moon). So, someone in the hosp. today picked me to work for their group!! Wasn't sure I'd get the job, as I had just started looking for one there, before the new management comes along to where I'm presently working. But I figured whoever was hiring today would lost her mind, and hire me, due to the odd effect of the full moon?!!

This goes for @Goofyernmost also. Some gyms offer balance classes for seniors and they're even fully covered by some health insurance policies as they're considered preventative.
I'm having more balance problems, along with diminishing seeing. I'm glad you didn't get hurt. Probably no one took notice, except you. I find, I have one leg that shortens up after my car accident. It's been happening more frequently, getting older is so much fun. Maybe everyone over 70 should find a fun place to be, spend the money that's left, and go to Mars! We would be great volunteer's....we don't need to survive. I would like to change my age, backwards. Before there is no return.
