I'm having more balance problems, along with diminishing seeing. I'm glad you didn't get hurt. Probably no one took notice, except you. I find, I have one leg that shortens up after my car accident. It's been happening more frequently, getting older is so much fun. Maybe everyone over 70 should find a fun place to be, spend the money that's left, and go to Mars! We would be great volunteer's....we don't need to survive. I would like to change my age, backwards. Before there is no return. ;););)
There weren't many people in there when it happened, but, a guy in one of the shops did see me hit the ground and ran out to see if I was alright. He helped me up and I was so embarrassed that I just quickly thanked him and walked off. The next day I went back, found him and formally thanked him and tried to explain why I was so rude when he helped me. I was just completely embarrassed by my inability to even walk without falling over. I explained, apologized and shook his hand thanking him for his help. Didn't know what else to do. I guess I'm going to have to get over the feeling that I don't need any help before it's to late. Have I mentioned that I hate the aging process, but, the alternative is even worse.
Worse for the time being, but, I'm afraid that when I get to the point of dependency I am going to prefer to just head off the planet. I have no desire to spend years just sitting in a wheelchair drooling on myself just to be called alive.

We were going to take a small trip to Florida with my ex but the broken ankle sidelined us. They're still going. That's more money for us to save for a cruise next holiday. I'm thinking we'll be at the movie theater three or four times. We want to see Sing! when it comes out.

Sympathy like about the Florida trip. :(
But, cool about movie theater time, and the next year holiday trip plans...!!! :)

I hope my new job (starting January) has good yummies like that! (That's right--it's a full moon tonight -- it's called the Cold Full Moon). So, someone in the hosp. today picked me to work for their group!! Wasn't sure I'd get the job, as I had just started looking for one there, before the new management comes along to where I'm presently working. But I figured whoever was hiring today would lost her mind, and hire me, due to the odd effect of the full moon?!! :hilarious: :D

Yep, but that full cold moon tonight started out looking awesome tonight as it was rising. The moon was masked by naked tree branches and was so awesome as I was sitting at a redlight. I would have snapped a pic but sadly it I was viewing it between the pillars of a Speedway Gas Station. That would have taken a heck of a lot of cropping.

Congrat's on swinging a new position at the Hospital! Woot! So do you get to keep the same benefits, vacation seniority etc.? So happy this is all working out for you as the holidays approach.

What if they are repurposing these same tents for when they are not in use, to not waste "space" in storage...
 We have a few very similar in our school district...around $200. Disney is charging what about $600/day retail. What Disney pays for them likely wholesale they'd be able to buy to buy a new one each day and never need to consider storage. I can't blame Disney I guess, it is the Stupid guests that fawn over stuff like this that make me want to scream. :banghead:

If there is one thing that is really concerning me now it is my mobility. I did a lot of rehab after I had my leg accident in 2009. I now walk nearly 2 miles everyday, I have lost weight. Heck, I walked all over Europe last year, but, this year it seems like my balance isn't what it was. I don't ever feel dizzy or anything, but, I have trouble getting my legs to work the way I want them to allow me to maneuver properly. Just yesterday I was trying to step out of a bunker on the golf course. A simple little step up and I got hung up half way there. I had an awful time keeping my balance or enabling my "good" leg to exert enough strength to step out. A few weeks ago I was walking on level ground in the mall and my foot kind of dragged on the floor and it threw my balance off completely and I couldn't catch up, ending up face down on the floor of the mall. Didn't hurt anything other then my pride, but, it was almost surreal. I had my daughter wa

lk with me to see if my walk or gate was out of sinc. and she said that she couldn't see anything wrong, everything looked normal. If this is another old age trick, I am not amused.

BTW, I wouldn't worry about a derriere fall. I have plenty of padding there. I doubt I would even feel it.

Yike! That be enough to scare the jabezers out of me.

Have you seen a neurologist? That would be concerning given you have had two episodes in short order. *pixie dust*
