We didn't do cards today. We can't get into the mood. And I can't address at the moment. Hubby's printing is not legible.

I did a double workout and got most of our wrapping done today so I may have a small glass of wine after I feed the boys If I remember or don't fall asleep. Sorting through everything was a PITA!

I was really polite on the phone and it was a second DWI before the same judge in the same town It's a small town and everybody knows first timers get state minimums but show up a second time and the book gets thrown at you. Lawyer was trying to get a change of venue

Awww....so when is the concert? Is that in danger of being canceled as well? I'd have been a grumpy girl if one of my concerts was canceled!

The concert is later in the week and in no danger of getting cancelled Dress rehearsal got pushed to tomorrow.

Many families have complex relationships. Some family members (and relatives) you can love, but still dislike them and keep a distance. That Norman Rockwell painting about the happy, multi-generational family, at the Thanksgiving table comes to mind; some families are really like that. As a kid, I always thought that was normal for everyone. As an adult, I realize it's not necessarily true in many cases.

I feel the same, when my Grandmother died, we never had another family holiday. I guess it wasn't all that nice among my mother's sister. You do grow up and learn a lot about complex relationships.

I'm not!!!!! Somebody dumb enough to drive while falling down drunk gets what ever the judge sees fit. Sometime people have to learn the hard way.

Maybe, since I live in Colorado. Maybe I should just grow a winter coat. Or kill a bear, and have a really warm coat of my own!

DH got out of bed slid to the car, came back in and went back to bed. I have to wake him up later so he can call in, that is if they don't close. There's now 8 inches of snow with a mix of snow and ice now coming down

So sorry, you are getting it really bad this year. I want to be a bear and hibernate through the winter. Be safe, and stay inside.
