the bulky appearance remind me more of DeadMau (a DJ) than Mickey.. but then the gloves definitively makes it mickey like.

I wonder if they made these variations to avoid lawsuits XD

Some designer is showing his Disneyside. I made my DD livingroom drapes and her kitchen drapes and table cloth from 2 different fabrics that I've posted before. The tablecloth has the classic Mickey and the drapes are larger and slightly smaller large circles that form again the Mickey too. I tend to buy Ikea fabrics for this type of stuff cause they are whimsical and they are a heavy weight-more upholstery weight to them.

I've posted before but this is DD kitchen material

Oh, believe me, I completely understand where you're coming from. However, the cost of living up here is very high. It may surprise you that full-day parking anywhere in the vicinity of where I work in the city, would cost more than my monthly transit pass (if you're working a full-day job, 5 days a week, every month).

Some people at work drive in, but they park at (somewhat cheaper) satellite lots far away--and then they have to wait for shuttle buses to show up, to take them here!!! In other words, there's no good solution for commuting in our area. (Now, if you live within the city, itself, even on the outskirts, the public transit is cheaper. Yet, in many cases, the cost to rent or own eats up anything you've saved on your transit pass!) :depressed:

Woof. Sounds like either way, their gonna' get ya'. Just hafta' run the numbers and choose the best option for your particular circumstances.

I hope you are having the best time. We don't do reunions anymore, I sure miss them!

I'm not a fan of reunions. My side of the family only does reunions by default, usually weddings and funerals at best. As I've said on my Mom's side of the family I have 43 first cousins, some I've never met, some I wish I had not and a special few I really love. Those I see.

Now the other side of the family they tended to force these things. It too has dwindled. Something happened...we were never sure what but the elders have been strained at best since, the annual reunions stopped. We were all curious but nobody would crack and tell us what went down. One year the reunions just stopped. Me, Amen. Boy I hated those 4x a year (both sides of the inlaw family) events. Even the cousins were one upping each other...the elders competing for bragging rights. It was unseemly. So not a fan.

Me, if you like the people, you see them, you spend time with them. If not why bother?

We got 4" of snow since 7 pm last night. It's going to be rain and mix on Thanksgiving for us. We were going to Cracker Barrel but decided with a kid in a cast that can't stand long we're staying home. I think baked chicken is on my menu. :)

I'm sorry. We love Cracker Barrel. I hope the weather makes a dramatic change in your favor. Your Princess deserves a break. The good kind. :geek:

One Little Spark...
1 month...

I got to talk to my kid today, she wanted to knew when she'd see me again. We babbled on in french (bad french) for a few minutes...

We talked about what she wanted to do if she could go to Paris (she still doesn't know)...

Que vous faire a Paris?

"I want to see the Eiffel Tower!"

Je voix le tour Eiffel

What else, wouldn't you want to climb to the top?

Voile-tu le grimper?

"No, that could be scary."

No. Terrible.

Was just watching Pearl Harbor.
Good movie, but, towards the end the one guy dies with his eyes open, and that made my silly self think...what percentage of people in real life actually die with their eyes open...?! o_O
They sure use it a lot in movies, but, I'm just curious how often that is the case in real life... :cyclops:

I dunno the answer to your inquiry, but I do know that if I'm going to croak in a volatile situation like that, I'd want to have my eyes shut--wouldn't want to see it coming at me!!
