Gee I'm sorry. I guess I'll just stop posting pictures.
I never said you should stop posting pictures, cheez, stop taking things personally.
I'm just trying to figure out some of these pictures in the mind of a photographer. (aka, not sure if they were edited on purpose or what kind of tools they used to make the strange blendings)

another pic that makes no sense.. the flowers and bottom area are heavily lit like the light came from behind the photographer.. but yet.. the sun is on the back, also leaving no light traces or flares.. o_o

Interesting observation, but my guess is that you're over-analyzing the photo. ;) I think many people (myself included) would just see pretty flowers, and not even notice the lighting at all. Photography is an art form, and I guess people's perceptions can vary.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Please DO NOT stop posting your pics!!!!!!!
Please...!!!!!!!!!!!

In response to @Cesar R M, I'm guessing the foregrounds in those pics were lit by the photogs, otherwise they would have been lost and, the photogs wanted to highlight them, as well, because they probably thought it would add interest to the shot, which I think it does. Just MHO. :)

Remember this pic I posted a while back of a sunset from my folks driveway? You can barely make out anything in the foreground...

I'm thinking the photographer might have used some of these ultra strong strobe lights.
They can illuminate almost as a day.
They cost a fortune!

Makes sense to me. Like a super powerful flash.
If you look at the middle ground of the tulip pic (the sort of tree line area beyond the flowers) it gets dark again, and then there is the sunset area above that. :)

Pfffft. None of that matters. Here's a few highlights of winter, and why we love it so much --

Before they had all these passes, etc., the transit system just used cash or tokens (you'd buy a roll of tokens and it would save you a little money). You'd throw the token in the fare box and voila. You'd enter. No problems--EVER.

Can I tell you how much I hate "progress"??!!!

Yep, we've had similar problems with our toll road system (which, I'm still proud to say I have yet to need to use, and have no desire to) out here recently. "Progress", indeed... :cyclops:

She's definitely got a lot of personality. At the same time, she really doesn't want to hurt anyone. She's never even hissed at a human. She's hissed at barn cats who come too close to the house, but if she doesn't trust a human, she'll hide. She's not aggressive at all. But she will occasionally bite my mom or me if she's unhappy with us moving her. In which case, we shove her off us and then ignore her. Eventually she comes back with a guilty look on her face and apologizes.

The only other time she'll try to bite is when she's playing. In that case, we sometimes play with her, but if she starts getting too aggresive, we give her a toy. She likes to sneak attack from the kitchen chairs. We'll walk by one of them and not realize she's there until she jumps up and whaps us with her paw. Sometimes I notice she's there and I move out of the way and she just hangs over the back of the chair, waving her paws at me:hilarious:

Hahaaa...!
She sounds way more reliable than a certain multi-million dollar yeti we're all familiar with...no "Disco Belle"...!!! :hilarious:

Was just watching Pearl Harbor.
Good movie, but, towards the end the one guy dies with his eyes open, and that made my silly self think...what percentage of people in real life actually die with their eyes open...?! o_O
They sure use it a lot in movies, but, I'm just curious how often that is the case in real life... :cyclops:

Even as expensive as public transportation is around here it is cheaper than driving, likely why we have so many people are on our Metra trains. By the time you factor in the cost of the vehicle lets say over 10 years. Cost of maintenance, auto insurance, gas. Plus we also have tolls. Our trains into the city also move much quicker than our expressways and tollways. Now out where I live there isn't any transportation that leads anywhere besides downtown Chicago so a major chunk of us are in cars due to lack of choice.

Oh, I indeed understand where it is readily available and reliable. I would do it myself, after running the numbers, if I was saving a decent amount of money.
In this part of town, we have no convenient access to rail, light rail, or bus service.
We actually had bus service at one point, but, it was so sparse and unreliable that it was pretty much a joke and discontinued.
When, or if, things change significantly in my lifetime, I'll definitely consider it all. Until that time, I'll travel to and fro in my own personal transportation, mostly ;), at my leisure.

After all...
"It's fun to be free!" :D ;) :)
