Great! It isn't often that they do a 20% off (it's just on their own name brand items though--they carry some other brands, but to a much lesser extent).

I'm lucky that I have one of their stores that I can get to (it's not as big as their flagship store up in Freeport). Sometimes I find things there and sometimes not. But it's still good to see certain items in person, because that can often influence my decision to buy or not (depending upon color, how the item is sized, etc.).
She tries to get to Freeport twice a year for the big sales. One of her friends moved up that way so she has a place to stay and they make a fun long weekend out of the trip with a side trip to their favorite maple syrup place in Vermont.

That there is one pretty lengthy side trip just for an overpriced sugar high. But, I guess if one has just spent extreme extra shopping at L.L. Beans then that is nothing really.;)

That kind of worries me because the fortune cookie that I got the other day had nothing written on it. Notta! Blank strip of paper! :jawdrop: I'm guessing not enough future left to bother using the ink to put something on it. Bet you will have a good time on the Dream though. :joyfull:

Blank strip! :jawdrop: They probably just thought you already have good fortune? We didn't even open our fortune cookies from last night's takeout, now I'd be nervous. What if I get a blank fortune?

I'd be fine.

I really loved Tangled so much more than Frozen, not that I didn't like Frozen it was more in the perfectly fine category for me and so overdone in Marketing.

It is Disappointing that so much theming went into the Tangled Potties instead of an attraction. Equally glad it didn't go into another Princess meet and greet.

Seconding all this!
Noone can beat Maximus..

This is why I like you two, you have good taste! :)

I was really disappointed when they removed the Snow White's Scary Adventures with the Princess meet and greet. I felt they should have redone the ride as a Tangled dark ride. I listened to an interview with Tony Baxter (Disney Imagineer) a year or so ago and he talked about how he thought Tangled was a better movie than Frozen as well, and lamented use of Tangled for bathrooms instead of an attraction. This made him my favorite imagineer (plus he is responsible for Big Thunder). :inlove:

In other news, very eventfull day.
My mother had an accident. She confused her eye drops with super glue :| (how did she, I have no idea, as the bottles are completely different). And squeezed quite a bit of glue in her eye.
Good thing I was still awake playing computer when she told me about her issue. Her eye was in VERY BAD SHAPE.
She was very stubborn and had to push her to call her doc (really why they do this? ) The doc recommended her some liquid drops to slowly let the glue drop.So I went for the medicine.. kinda annoying as one of the pharmacies closed their doors on my nose as they were closed down. Had to drive way farther....Anyway the drops Didnt work very well, my mother told me she was hurting and that she wanted to go the doc later on. She called the doc again and told me we had to wait a few (the doc was going to do surgeries at 5:00 am, so he told us to be at 4:00 in the hospital)
So we did, we drove almost all the way to the city and waited.
The doc had to use some pliers and some eye surgery tools to remove. Turns out she had some glue crystals floating around AND the glue in her eyelids were irritating her eyes even more.
So he removed them and gave different kinds of drops.
THEN I had to again be awake for english class XD
Suffice to say, I only ate and dove to my bed and just woke up 30 minutes ago :O

My mother is doing a bit better, still embarrased and angry. As she shad to pay the doc.. and we are driving this monday to go to our family vacations (first time its possible since 15 years ago, aka me, my brother, my sister and mom going somewhere).

Will post lots of photos when I return as usual.

Yikes! I'm glad she is okay. A 12 student (not in my class, but in our district) put super glue in his eye while working on a project for the science club afterschool. He apparently wanted to see what it would do . And the teacher flushed his eye and called the parents who immediately took him to the emergency room. He was not allowed to work with equipment any more without goggles!

Is this the family reunion that is in Playa del Carmen? It's so pretty there, please share some pictures. Have fun and drive safe!

I made hot and sour soup yesterday and I'm making Sesame or orange tofu tomorrow:):hungry:

Sounds good (but I substituted chicken for tofu in my head when I thought about eating it). I don't know if I have ever had hot and sour soup. I was looking at a review for the Dim Sum brunch at Morimoto's yesterday and that was one of the items featured and it looked good and like something I would eat.

Call me old fashioned but I like brick and mortar stores. There's something fun about going out and seeing how all the stores are decorated and listening to Christmas music while shopping. As for the crowds I avoid the worst of them by shopping early in the day:)

Old Fashioned! :D

I like both. I like to go out in the stores and do some shopping. But I like shopping online too, sometimes there are better deals, and since I have to drive 45 minutes to and hour to get to any decent stores there is more variety. I do like getting the packages in the mail. Even if the contents I ordered aren't for me, I still get to open them and that is like opening a present!

If you can avoid the craziness of crowds than that is great. As for the Christmas Music, I just put on my favorite Christmas CDs or Christmas Radio Station and have at it. :)

Oh Dear. Not going looking for it. Had enough stupid this week.

You wouldn't find it anyway. I never posted anything in the thread I shall not name. I had a good buzz on and came this >< close, but, ultimately, like I pretty much always do, said to myself...

;)

It just isn't worth it, especially with the "everyone's an anonymous keyboard badass" interwebs of these days... :cyclops: ;)
