Hubby hasn't given me a lot of detail but the picture he texted me of him in front of Wrigley is priceless, there is just pure joy on his face.

Funny you ask about the pizza, I thought about demanding it but I didn't think he brought cooler with him. But never fear, he is bring hom both popcorn AND Lou Malnati's. I guess they went there for a late lunch and he order an extra pizza to go! :D:hungry:

I was also talking to our new guidance counselor about the joys of Garrett popcorn and she had never experienced it. But she said she has been craving caramel popcorn lately (she is pregnant with twins). So I texted hubs and he got her a small caramel. So I'm sharing the joy and converting another to Garrett's!

I'm so glad you are getting Lou's too! Yummy weekend ahead.

Awe, I bet she will really enjoy the Caramel Popcorn. Those little things that people do for you when you are prego mean so much.

I was cleaning some closets a few weeks ago. My sons closet was a deep one and whatever landed in the farthest back corner never seemed to be found again. Back there was an old box with both some preschool stuff of both his and his sisters. Low and Behold was the 4 original action hero Turtle guys. Of course I had to get them to him.

Now sitting on a shelf in his office. He has the coolest office. On shelves are now Turtles to Sorcerer Mickey, Buz to Pooh. Lifeguard Mickey. Now that he is overseeing over 250 employees and 2 full time support office managers it is apparently an office that is an ice breaker for all that must come to speak with him. I've only seen it in photo's but got to love.

My DD has a tall walled cubical when she doesn't work from home. Slowly she is also starting to mirror her brothers taste in office decor. Guess that is what sometimes happens when kids are raised Disney from Birth.

Did they really add all the decorations already? including the castle?

That crane has been up over the castle for what seems like many months now. Yep she is done, crane is finally gone. It actually seems like the crane is now there more months than it is gone. Wrecks a lot of daytime photo's year round annually. Still for Christmas anyhow that lite castle is breathtaking for Christmas.

Well this evening one of my DD lifeguards went down for the Cubs celebration today. She wished she had not, said she was miserable. Said everywhere she went bodies were smooshed chest to back with other fans wherever they were. Hard to see, hard to hear, hard to take a breath.

Kinda why we opted not to go. Millennium Epcot NYE was interesting, glad I did it, but would never do it again. Seems this Cubs celebration would have left me just as claustrophobic. Happy for all those who went to celebrate with our Cubs though. Certainly not lacking in fan support or love.

I'm actually surprised they havent found a way to make a "pre-made" lightning set that can be easily installed in a few days and that doesnt look that bad (like thin wire).
Yet they just love to use that darn crane..

I went to a much smaller tree a few years back. I had new livingroom and dining room furniture. The 7 ft tree no longer had a space and I was fine with that. The much shorter tree now goes on an endtable near the hallway so I see 3 sides. Just my favorite ornaments go up. I love it.
Our tree is just a bit big for our living room, blinking colored lights and packed with lots of ornaments. If it was up to me we'd have a slightly smaller tree, white lights and tasteful ornaments in rose and ivory with touches of silver and gold. I'd also like a second tree in the dining room for the Disney ornaments.
