With all this Christmas talk I'm getting really mad about black Friday starting at dinner time on Thanksgiving. I really enjoyed going out shopping before dawn on Friday. I don't care how good a sale anything is on Thanksgiving I refuse to go out that day!!!!!!!!!!!! I will just get up early on Friday as usual and hope that maybe a few things remain but if not who cares. I managed to get quite a few things in Florida:) and have already finished most of what I'm making.

Halloween to Christmas

Wow. Not only was that fun to watch, but it's really astonishing to see their entire Main Street USA Christmas display get done in just one night!! :jawdrop:

I only decorate a little (Christmas tree inside, wreath on outside door). But, it takes me forever, even just to hang one wreath on the door; because I keep puttering around with it--to get just the perfect view. (Wreaths made with pine branches can be a little lopsided, so you have to keep adjusting how they hang, until you get it right). I'm not much faster with the Christmas tree either. I doubt WDW would hire me for their overnight decorations crew! :p

There will be plenty of stuff left, early that Friday morning.

Yah, I can relate! :p Oh, one year, we got a tree that had a bent trunk. We couldn't tell it did, until we got it home. So we put the really tilted side toward the back wall, so that no one would see. Or, so we thought . . . :cautious: Family came by for a visit on Christmas, and the first thing my sister said was, "How come your tree is tilted?" :banghead:

No problem, I understand. I didn't grow up watching a lot of sports either, my family wasn't too into it. But I'm obsessed with Disney because my family was into it. I guess everyone has their own little obsession. I was just trying to point out that his reaction was based more on love of the team and family:)
Oh, I understand where it comes from... I just don't possess it. Sometimes I wish I did, but, my brain doesn't let me. I cannot understand being that emotionally vested in someone elses success. Someone(s) I don't even know. I can't get that into my own successes certainly not anyone else. I'm glad the Cubs won, but, to be honest it was just because they haven't won in so long. They were due and so were all their fans. I'm happy for them, but, that is where it ends for me. Seeing others achieve something that I will never be able to accomplish actually makes me sad.. for me. Glad for them, sad for me. However, deep inside it is a game and the sun will come up the next morning with or without a check in the "win" category.

May also be a symptom of aging. The older I get the less impressed I am with anything. I generated my own Disney obsession. It is no longer as strong as it once was, not even close in fact. My dad loved music and had a great singing voice. Because of his success, I never felt that I could measure up to his ability, so I never tried. I believe that I can sing quite well, but, it takes very little to shatter that confidence. As I said initially, I just do not have that gene.

@Gabe1 are you going downtown today for the parade? My hubs drove down last night to go with his nephew. His older sister drove in from Michigan to go with them. I got a text from him a little bit ago and they were already in the city. They were going to grab breakfast and then head to Wrigleyville. I told him that if he went he'd better obey the rule....bring back popcorn!! :joyfull:

sorry, lack fo sleep does that to you.

not a good day so far..
Row of windows 10 crashes, windows corruption, restoring it.. then my thunderbird main account collapsed and lost tons of emails. good thing it was a gmail linked account. sO I could recover most from the "allemails" feature of google.
not fun at all.
After all the stress to fix a server (for 2 weeks) and finally fixing it 3 days ago..yeah, its been insane x_X

Btw, wish me luck.. TOEFL exam tomorrow very early (who the hell gives an important exam THIS EARLY? 7:00 am)
Lots of Luck!

No. It will be crazy like NYE in the MK. Have done the Disney Parade in November with the lighting of the Lights plus the 4th down there and that is enough for me. There is supposed to be millions in Grant Park.

What no Lou Malnati's Pizza to go with that Popcorn?
