To be honest, she's not a great Finance professor either. She's FAR better than the last guy that they had teaching Finance, but she's still not that great. We had a take-home test, and no one got an A. Class average was a 78. To me, if you've made your test so hard that no one gets an A even with it being open-book, you need to put a curve on it. And she's refusing to do so. As one of my other professors said, "If you make the test too hard, ya gotta put a curve on the test as an apology for making it too hard." Sadly, another one of those professors who thinks she can do no wrong. The even sadder part is she's asked me for advice before since I'm a senior and was successful enough in Accounting to be a tutor, and she does not seem to be taking much of what we say to heart. She crams too much into the course instead of sticking to the basics, she doesn't plan enough time for questions, and in a small class like this, students WILL question to make sure they are getting it. And she has an accent, but she's also soft-spoken and sits down during the entire class, so paying attention to the lecture is nearly impossible. I have a French professor this semester, and even though his accent is thicker than hers is, I get far more out of his class than I do hers because he's more engaging and makes the class difficulty level more reasonable.

They had shrimp every day when we took a cruise on RCCL, but I've heard....just like Disney their food service has gone downhill. Probably won't do a cruise on them anymore. But if you want good shows, fun, RCCL is very good. Way better than what we experienced on our our first cruise with another cruise line. But as we are getting older, I'm more about relaxation and food!

Kicked me out of sleep instantly as I remembered that there was open windows.. so I ran to close them all (luckily water JUST had started to get in, so no real damage). Still, adrenaline boost + running = zero sleep x_x

See my earlier post, I got to contend with the police going by our bedroom with lights and siren on, at 3:30 A.M. We have heavy drapes and blinds, still didn't keep the noise and lights out. Hello, infomercials!;)

One of the reasons we have a Dyson vacuum (other than that they are the greatest) is because they are certified asthma and allergy friendly.

Our house does the exact same thing. I get a few days at a hotel, when the house gets painted. I painted our house, inside and out for years...then, bang....I can't breath. This will sound crazy , but putting real vanilla in paint really helps with the smell. But not the allergic fumes.
