Sympathy like and a big hug. I don't have any this year. My baby is now at the point you only get them if your child needs them. I guess it's a good thing he doesn't qualify but it also means he's getting older:(
This is going to sound like bragging, but, even though I'm proud of my girls, this isn't about that. My wife and I used to go to both of their conferences year after year. All we ever heard was what a delight they were. How hard they worked at getting good grades, well behaved and helpful whenever they could be. Sounds wonderful, but, one would start to think that we could just make a recording of one conference and then be able to stay home and watch TV and play it back when we had a few minutes.

Sunday I was visiting my youngest and she and her son were having an intense discussion concerning his current intellectual status. He (and his Father) feel that sports are far more important then school work. He was making every excuse he could think of for why he didn't do well on a quiz or get an assignment done. Things like... the teacher didn't cover that part in class, (funny how everyone else seemed to know the material) or that he was tired and didn't quite get something finished, etc. I couldn't help but to walk over to my daughter and put my arms around her and hugged her, told her I loved her and thanked her for being a wonderful child. She and her sister saved me and her mother massive amounts of anxiety.

Mine was a DC-8. From Montreal to Lisbon, Portugal in 1967.

is

I did have to take a DC-3 from Venice to Rome on that same trip. Scary flight. I felt that I could walk faster then the plane was moving and we hit a down draft that would have killed a weaker person. But, alas, I did survive.

Even with outlet prices they are crazy expensive! Maybe someday I'll hit the lottery and get one. They may be worth the money but by the time I can justify the cost I hopefully won't be doing as much cooking:confused:

I want the Dutch Oven, one quart. You have growing boys, me I need the right size to cook just enough 'cause we try not to continue to grow now. :joyfull:

Canada is one of my favorites at F&W, especially when I'm hungry and need something yummy yet safe, something I won't chuck in the trash after a bite. I think the Soup & Pretzel Roll and fillet was just under $15. The only thing that would make me happier with that dinner is a couple tablespoons of rice under the filet (and of course somewhere indoors to eat it lol)

And on that note: Did you guys see that Disney is actually encouraging guests to bring food and beverages into the Tiki Room????
They want to sell those Dole Whips! :hungry:

Saw they brought back the cream cheese pretzels, jalapeno pretzels can't be too far away right?:geek:

I love the color. Actually, they have a number of attractive colors to choose from. But here is the only item I have from Le Creuset. Bought it for hubby a few years ago (also in red below) at the outlet. He likes grinding up peppercorns, so he uses it for that. :)
