It was pretty here, 82, sunny. The breeze was a bit much but at this time I'll take all the days like this that I can get.

Maybe time to add a countdown timer to the signature?

I like the countdowns, but shouldn't there be a third?

Did you see that Planet Hollywood is teasing their menu. Here is the shakes they posted today. Now how you drink that???? Instead of a designated driver you'll need a designated friend that is trained for Heimlich.

Looks like the straw goes in through all the extra junk. I guess you just slurp the shake until it all caves into the cup, and then maybe attack the remains with a spoon...?!!!

I am so glad that Monday is over. I won't bore you all with venting, but let's just say this...parent teacher conferences.

Blah. I really didn't care for the concept. Once there was ed-line and the kids were doing well, doing their work etc., and all the assignments were online and we had virtual backpacks, I really didn't see the point. Still I always went, didn't want to be labeled as one of those parents. Though I always wanted to see the speech pathologist, needed to sit on my hands so I didn't pinch her really really hard.

I remember PE teacher requested a conference with me for DS (6) and it was difficult to wedge in over the dates and times available. Teach was concerned because everything was fine except his Galloping Skills were not coming along too well. He was a competitive swimmer, played t-ball and at that point soccer rolleyes and I left work to discuss his Galloping Skills.

13 days until Halloween!

It was the second in a row of them. Usually it is a Monday and then Thursday, but I guess someone thought two Monday's was a better idea. The spring conferences will be back to normal, thank goodness.

We do a couple hours both Wednesday, Thursday after school early evening, Friday Morning, Teachers then have Friday afternoon and Monday off as comp time.

As my DS aged we'd bolt. We had so many days off for report card day (in-service 2 day) Veterans Day, 2 conference days off and usually a field trip as the new quarter started. We'd leave for Halloween and come back from Disney after Veterans Day. They'd be out about 2 weeks but only miss usually 5 days of school and long before the next quarters report card.

I've said it before but our District has soooo many in-service days.

I'm very happy for you guys. It's really nice to see teams that haven't won a World Series in a LONG time all vying for it, instead of the same few teams that normally go to the postseason. Hoping to see the O's go to the World Series at some point in my lifetime.
