Boy, if it wasn't for the ear I don't know that I'd recognize him anymore.

Bets, I particularly like this photo of the horse-drawn trolley on Main Street, with the cheerful autumn decorations all around. Hope you get to ride on this, at some point during your vacation.

By the way, that horse is a beauty, and his bridle, etc., is very attractive. Did you see the MIckey on his forehead, and the one hanging down from the front of his chest? Those are amazing details. :)

Wasn't that a problem with the engine igniter...?
Once those things are started, they generally keep runnin' 'til they're purposely shut down.
Extremely rare for one to just shut down out of the blue in mid-flight.
Engines can "flame out" mid air when they dont get enough oxygen OR ingest too much water/vapour/cold air if I remember correctly. Thus having to reinitiate.

I don't like them either. Reminds me of the yearly, lame Thanksgiving dinner conversation I used to have with my mother. She loved sweet potatoes and would boil and mash them.

When the serving dishes were passed around the table, I'd bypass them, and just pass the sweet potatoes on to the next victim. My mother would say, "Aren't you having any sweet potatoes?" I'd reply, "No, I hate them." Mom: "But they're GOOD." Me: "No, they're not." Mom: "Yes, they are, they're really delivious." Me: "No, they're really not." And this non-discussion would go on the same way . . . every year . . . (To this day, I'll never understand how my mother thought that by telling me they're really delicious, would actually have an effect on my taste buds . . . )

I don't hate them, but, generally they're a pass for me. Sooo many more tasty things on the table. :hungry:
My pop loves them and calls them "Music roots"...!!! :hilarious:

Oh, I know, but, again, it's extremely rare. Think about how many times a year and how much water all those jet engines out there ingest during driving rain storms and don't flame out. Extremely rare.
