That seems pretty reasonable I guess. But can you tell an uber driver from just anyone? I only know that the uber drivers at CBR were uber drivers because they came and asked if we were who they were there to pick up. But I don't remember any distinguishing marks on their vehicle. Granted, it was late at night so it was dark, and I was exhausted after a full day in the parks, so I may not have noticed. But we are from Europe, so we didn't get our magic bands until we checked in. We came by Magical Express, but had we done Uber instead or rented a car and drove ourselves, there's nothing to say they wouldn't have let us in because we did not have our magic bands yet. They'd best have some alternative way of confirming that people are in fact legitimately on property.
The drivers always show the uber app, their information. Also most uber drivers are also taxi or limo registered drivers.
Most of them also have the "uber" sticker on their cars.

And pretty sure you can present your reservation papers to enter.

That's a bummer about the cruise, but at least they are still safe. Do they get reimbursed for the cruise? A few years ago, there was a volcano that erupted in Iceland and a lot of flights were cancelled because of it. Back home, a friend of mine who sings in a choir, this choir was scheduled to go to the UK on tour and their flights were canceled because of ash from the volcano. They did not get refunded at all. And in May, one of the guys in my choir here was scheduled to go on vacation and they had a layover in France. But the french airlines were on strike and so they arrived at the airport only to be told that their flight would not be going and unfortunately, even their trip insurance wouldn't cover it, because their accommodations in Turkey and their flight back were still all valid, so they did not consider it a cancellation. They couldn't go on their trip, and it was too late to cancel without paying, but they were just out the entire amount for the trip. I'd be LIVID. I hope that's not the case with your DDs!
I suppose they had different airlines and they didnt buy global insurance?

Those are both Disney not on CN.

I haven't watched CN recently but I know Adventure Time and Steven Universe are pretty popular.

Im not sure if I was but no one evacuated from where I live which is Miami Dade. We where in a tropical warning area, but Mathew was a bit too close for comfort causing me to get to nervous, because if it had gone a bit more south or gone inland unlike predicted I would've been in trouble.
Luckily the worst that happened was my electricity flickering but never going out and a palm frond in the road.
I'm lucky Mathew did what it did. Hoping for the best for those that will be effected by Mathew
You're right, I mixed the stations!

Steven Universe is definitively very popular online.

I didn't post it though. And the reason I mentioned it was not in correlation with the politics....it was because of the highlight of our tendency to long for things so much that we forget about the less desirable aspects of those things. Like the fact that we didn't have vaccines for things like polio and smallpox, and we didn't know the dangers of smoking, especially while pregnant. And especially the attitudes towards women and minorities. It pokes fun at our "the grass is always greener" mentality. Yes, the video has its root in the politics of one particular candidate, which is why I DIDN'T post it or even post a link. So no, my post was NOT of a political nature. The VIDEO, which I did NOT post, was of a political nature. You couldn't get to the video without going offsite, voluntarily, and looking for it. And since I posted that it was rooted in politics, people knew what they were going to find if they decided to go looking for it. But I did not post anything political. I don't know if you clicked on the spoiler or not, or if you watched the video or not, but the only thing in the spoiler was the title of the video IF you were interested. But there was no political content in my post. I just stated that the conversation reminded me of a video, but the video was inappropriate to post here, so I wouldn't, and then I gave the title so anyone who was interested could find it. By your standards, the fact that ajrwdwgirl has mentioned her husband being a pastor means that she's been discussing religion. I'm pretty sure I remember her posting a link to a video from a sermon at one point for anyone interested, but it wasn't "discussing" religion. I'm sorry if it offended you, and it really was not intended as a political statement. It just happened that the message corresponded with what people were talking about on here. But the political content was not on this forum.

You're still not getting it.
I can explain it to you, but, I can't understand it for you.
I'm out of this conversation.
