My dh has a 4 day weekend and I'm glad we're not going to Disney. May be the one and only time I say that ever! They're predicting now it'll reach a Cat 4 by the time it makes Florida.
Kudos. That kinda makes you an honorary Teal PumpkinI've been giving out coins and seasonal pencils for quite a while. There are at least 3 kids with serious peanut allergies and a couple of kids that can't have dairy so it's safer.
I never had Okra until I moved down here. To me they were fairly tasteless. So, the verdict... if they are in something I don't care, if they aren't then the same feeling applies. Not sure of their appeal here in the south, but, Okra is everywhere. Not a fan of okra, either. And I like lots of veggies, it's just too slimy for me.
I like cat. 4 , so funny!Your hurricane guide:

No prob! Braised tofu and mushrooms it will be
keeping algae out. not pee. What would be the purpose of chlorinating if they didn't. Big deal.
It works for both. There are so many things worthy of our concern. That isn't one of them.keeping algae out. not pee.
They are going to board the windows I suppose?Thankfully they're far enough inland that they shouldn't experience flooding. They're worried about the high winds, but I know at the very least my aunt has few trees around her house.

Seriously, if that were really a problem every swimming pool in the world would be closed. Don't believe everything that you read. It is not a very sophisticated thing to do, but, no one that I have ever heard of has been injured or even was aware if someone pee'd in a pool and it has been happening ever since bodies of water have existed. So you have any idea how much chlorine is in the water that we drink? We should all be wondering around with tears in our eyes. How many people are aware that when you say chlorine you are actually saying Chlorine Bleach. Yes, the same jugs of bleach that we use in our laundry is dumped directly into the water that we drink. Anyone feel less like being hydrated then before?http://science.howstuffworks.com/innovation/science-questions/question652.htm for BACTERIA.
It doesn't do much against pee to "remove it".

infact.. pee is DANGEROUS when mixed with Chlorine. Causes damaging teargas like substance.
No, they just moved all projectiles. We have friends in Jacksonville who boarded their windows, though. They are going to board the windows I suppose?
If you turn it so it's in portrait mode, the numbers are nice and big
If I was the parent and the deal was I get to look and they deleted I'd just take the phone away. Problem solved. When my DS & DD had cells at the age of her kid there wasn't unlimited texting or talk minutes. Way back now my DD was 8 when she was given her first cell phone because she got stuck on a Disability School Bus that didn't notify me or the school it was broken down in below freezing temps. She was in a cast and in a wheelchair-trapped in bus. That wasn't going to ever happen again. I bought the cell that night.

They are lovely devices. They go in your pocket and contain the knowledge of mankind. Although I mostly use mine for looking at pictures of cats and getting into arguments with strangers. You and Cesar RM never cease to amaze me with your tech knowledge. I would have never known that!!
Thank you for this insider information.
(Then again, I don't have a phone like that, but maybe in 20 years if I finally cave and buy one, I'll know how to make the numbers bigger! )
Just curious -- how do you know if the kid deletes messages? I mean, if they're deleted, they're gone. (Unless you had some super duper computer program that could find them after being erased, I don't know how you'd know.) It's hard for parents now with all this tech stuff. I figure my parents had it hard enough without us having cell phones, etc.
