If I was a kid nowadays, and I had a parent who checked my text messages, I would definitely not save any of them. In fact, I never save a text message now. Once I have read it, it's gone.
He agreed to it checking messages and time limits. We pay for the phone and with all the crazies out there better safe than sorry. We don't read every one or read them all the way through, we just want to make sure he's only talking to real kids

If I was the parent and the deal was I get to look and they deleted I'd just take the phone away. Problem solved. When my DS & DD had cells at the age of her kid there wasn't unlimited texting or talk minutes. Way back now my DD was 8 when she was given her first cell phone because she got stuck on a Disability School Bus that didn't notify me or the school it was broken down in below freezing temps. She was in a cast and in a wheelchair-trapped in bus. That wasn't going to ever happen again. I bought the cell that night.

Cells were not the problem of my years with kids. With son it was that thing calling IM'ing.

I can also understand it from the employer's viewpoint too. There was one summer intern who was paid on commission (same as we pay a professional). He barely worked; just sat there on his laptop. Mmhmm. And we wonder why they don't wanna pay us?

If that was the criteria to pay employees or not, all age groups would be working for free that had access to tech during working hours. On this website and the other two I have played on it isn't just students posting and catching up during business hours. With smart phones it is really easy for employees of all ages to play on sites and Facebook. I can't lump just college students into it.

He's lucky. I didn't have a phone until high school, and I didn't have text messaging until my mom figured out that I could discretely check my phone for a message from her at lunch without a staff member bothering us about it. And even then, I could text her and no one else.

I was reading a blog on Top 7 Worst Dishes at Epcot's Food and Wine. Complete with photos. It is really funny.

Comments like you probably should just not serve chicken and dumplings if Cracker Barrel serves much better. Comparisons to dog/cat food. Or a two-for for horrid Italian Food. There was another part the best of F&W. I liked it cause it kinda steered you to the best of the best and what to run far away from.
plot twist.. its a trick by Disney to cut offers by removing "unwanted" dishes so they can save on costs.. :hilarious::hilarious:

Mathew is turning into a giant pain in the tushie. First it was we were going to get hit then nothing, then rain and now 80mph winds along the coast and tropical storm conditions where I am. Guess I'm going to have to get ready just in case:mad: Care to comment @Mr Ferret 88
The other storm is pushing matthew towards florida if I remember correctly. Hurricanes and tropical storms can be that close to each other.

There's all kinds of theories. All levels of Cubs' loyalty. All kinds of Cubs fans. I'd love to see them win, for my husband and my older son, who have rooted for the Cubs in like "forever".

You haven't been her long enough to know I bleed Cubbie Blue and have the same loyalty to the Blackhawks and the Bears. I grew up a mega sports fan, my Dad had two DD's so I was tagged the girl that was going to have sports in her life. My Sis was a Princess.

I have little use for Basketball though and even less for Soccer.

Funny thing is this. Is it a bigger story if they finally win the series, or if they "choke" again?

We've been here before. I remember that tree. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
