Good morning it's a bit too cool out for me so I' going to get a ton of cooking and baking done today I'm going to heat up the house without having to turn on the heat I also have to conquer Mt Laundry At least the boys will be nice and quiet for a while while they're on chopping duty

The picture is really small...are those candycorn flavored marshmallows?? Weird.
Something I saw in the US that I wish I had brought back with me are the giant s'mores marshmallows! We don't have real marshmallows here anyway, so any marshmallow is cool, but man those giant ones looked awesome.

I've seen directions for making your own at home. I think it may have been you tube. I'm pretty sure they called for corn syrup but I could be wrong.

I didn't see that post . Speaking of texting....I saw 3 people at the gym today texting for 10 minutes or so, well maybe less, and then working out a little and going to back to their phone.

My birthday is not for another 2 weeks. Evil month to have a birthday. At least it's in the beginning.

In other news, I'm making coffee for the first time....as in no k-cup.

Oh, most of my friends name their laptops, for example. And one of my friend is a seamstress and she names her sewing machine, surger, etc. And I've known people to name their coffee machines.

To finish off an already amazing day, tonight I went to see "Weird" Al Yankovic at Radio City Music Hall! He is an absolutely outstanding performer and a musical genius.

I saw him many many years ago and he was a bundle of energy.

Yes. And they are shaped and colored like candy corn. Every season has something. There are pumpkin ones too

Can you get brown rice syrup, cane syrup or agave? You can sub those in for corn syrup, good luck

I like just about any ride except that one. I don't get sick but I just don't get it. It either makes one not prone to getting sick or just leaves you thinking why?

I got off and my friends had been watching me. Apparently, I looked bored when I was first on it, and then they just saw me smiling on it. The funny thing is that is my brothef's reactipm to most rides. I guess we're more alike than either of us would care to admit.

So sad. A 24 year old Miami Marlins pitcher, Jose Fernandez, was killed in a boating accident last night. He was the NL rookie of the year in his 2013 debut and already one of the top pitchers in the MLB. What's even more tragic is he announced last week on Instagram that his girlfriend was pregnant. Tragic on so many levels

Sympathy like. Ours go until right before Thanksgiving. Tomatoes and such will most likely be done in a couple of weeks with the first frost, but then with winter crops come in and I can't wait for cauliflower and the winter squashes to be in at their best.

Ours goes to the Saturday before Christmas. (There's a big barn building so it's indoors then.) From Thanksgiving on it turns to mostly baked goods, holiday crafts and Christmas trees.

My mom just bought a bushel of beets to can. Every Christmas she makes pickled beets, bread and butter pickles, zucchini bread, pumpkin muffins and cinnamon applesauce as gifts.
