Happy farm market Saturday. I'm not sure how much I'm going to get today as I cleaned out the big one yesterday. I have enough organic heirloom tomatoes for an army (about 1.50 a pound I weighted them out when I got home). I also got arugala (finally back in season) a ton of peppers and eggplant (going to wind up freezing some), green beans, okra, carrots, eggs cheaper than my regular place, assorted greens and a few other things. I have to go to the regular grocer which is near to the farm market so I'll see what they've got. Pool time this afternoon:joyfull:

last day of cruise, going to miss the Oasis.
truly an amazing engineering marvel.
the shows are incredible.
loved CATS and FROZEN ON TIME shows best.
we also seen some bad stuff too lol, like some word fights between a woman and a bunch of invasive vendors at labadee. it got so bad even a Royal Caribbean officer had to get involved and gave a good scolding to some vendors.
Pretty sure some of them got reported and might be expelled of the vendor area.
The Columbus cove was amazing to swim.. like a cup of tea, tiny waves and super soft sand.

Just a tip, eat as soon the darn bbq restaurant opens.
The Ribs run out so fast its not even funny.

there is also something I hated of this cruise. The darn shopping ads everywhere and how they shove you stuffs and "offers" 24/7.
Its overhelming. Stores all the time, watches, luxuries..etc.. via TV, via Ads, via Paper Ads, via the daily planner..etc.. every single day.
Not a fan of "shopping" experiences myself.
The Royal cruise seems way too focused on comercialization.

So, scores so far..

FOOD:
Disney Wonder wins! (we had a few bad food experiences in the Oasis, including flavourless food or dry meat)

SNACKS:
Disney Wonder wins! (while the oasis seems to have more options, a lot of them are upcharge, like the icecreams, I swear the Wonder's pizza was better than Sorrentos, even if Sorrents had more speciality pizzas and build your own pizza stands)

SHOWS:
Oasis of the Seas wins! (despite how awesome the shows at Disney are, the shows of the OASIS, including COME FLY WITH ME, CATS, the comedy shows, etc..etc.. the OASIS as overhelming quality in entertainment)

CHILDREN and Character Stuff
Disney Wonder wins! (Despite the Dreamworks stuff, they seem to be lacking a lot in characters, shows, etc.. Characters just stand and pose like a normal meet and greet in very specified times, and at most they do a tiny dance.. thats all! In the wonder you get huge atrium parties with characters!)

SHIP:
DRAW(no comparison as the wonder is a medium sized ship and the oasis is a behemot. I think the oasis has the advantage in having way more stuff, like full sized courts, tons of pools, arcades, playing areas, neighbourhoods AND wave simulators. Yet the ship was kinda tiring to move around. The wonder felt cozy and friendly all the time, and very easy to navigate)

CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Disney Wonder wins by a landslide! (despite having some really nice folks in the OASIS, the workers looks tired, overworked and sometimes even bored, They do not smile. The only good services we had were the stateroom clerk, the main restaurant, the singers of CATS and Come fly with me, and some adorable chinese lady that worked as waiter in a coffee. In disney evertything felt ultra friendly. So the Disney difference is definitively an insane difference)

Not to mention that restaurants like the Windjammer, feel horribly crowded during certain times. The elevators as well after some shows.

also, something funny that happens in ALL MY TRIPS.
IT ALWAYS RAINS IN THE LAST DAY..
for the past 15 years of flying and going on vacations.. the last day will always have rain for me.

tomorrow going to be probably offline the entire day to handle the transfer from the OASIS to my hotel and then in the next day will depart back to mexico.

So glad you had fun!! Thanks for that detailed recap, too. You and your mom have safe travels home to Mexico.

They always told us that resumes should be kept to just one page. It's only since becoming a recruiting manager that I understand why...:banghead:

And for the record, anyone who ever looks for a job, resumes need to be one page.

Yup, learned that one years ago, too. It's a quick hit of basic information only. I'm not a fan of that as it doesn't paint a more complete portrait, and so much is left out. I also know that most businesses use online resume systems that just look for buzz words. The human element is deceased in many places that hire.

But, I was out of work a few times in my life, and went with the 1-page resume, as that was what employment counselors highly recommended.

I won't even try and play catch up. I am home from my vacation. I really missed my computer. Internet at the hotels was terrible, and phone service in the rooms non existent. I took lots of pics, despite all the rain. The Halloween Party and Harry Potter were the highlight of my trip, that along with watching two delightful kids enjoying lunch with Chip and Dale, and Pluto, and Mickey at the Garden Grill. Vacation is what we make of it. I felt like a duck part of the time, but cast members, and guests alike sent birthday wishes my way, and made me feel like a queen.

It will take me days before I sort out all the pics that I put on the cell phone, and the camera. A full blown trip report - Maybe.

Welcome back! Can't wait to hear more details of your vacation! :)

@figmentfan423 -- hi Figgy! Logged on late morning here, as I was balancing my checkbook account for about an hour! HA! I stink at math. (Eventually, I always end up using an Excel spreadsheet, but I like to torture myself and do the arithmetic by hand. Then again, that's how I always get into trouble! :p )
Good morning, hope the rest of your weekend is more fun than balancing a check book.
