Welcome back. Glad to hear you had a good timeI won't even try and play catch up. I am home from my vacation. I really missed my computer. Internet at the hotels was terrible, and phone service in the rooms non existent. I took lots of pics, despite all the rain. The Halloween Party and Harry Potter were the highlight of my trip, that along with watching two delightful kids enjoying lunch with Chip and Dale, and Pluto, and Mickey at the Garden Grill. Vacation is what we make of it. I felt like a duck part of the time, but cast members, and guests alike sent birthday wishes my way, and made me feel like a queen.
It will take me days before I sort out all the pics that I put on the cell phone, and the camera. A full blown trip report - Maybe.
This is the best!
Your boys are so nice looking. No wonder the girls are flocking around .Good morning it's going to be another glorious day here! I hope all in all, you had a great trip. The Oasis ships are amazing.last day of cruise, going to miss the Oasis.
truly an amazing engineering marvel.
the shows are incredible.
loved CATS and FROZEN ON TIME shows best.
we also seen some bad stuff too lol, like some word fights between a woman and a bunch of invasive vendors at labadee. it got so bad even a Royal Caribbean officer had to get involved and gave a good scolding to some vendors.
Pretty sure some of them got reported and might be expelled of the vendor area.
The Columbus cove was amazing to swim.. like a cup of tea, tiny waves and super soft sand.
Just a tip, eat as soon the darn bbq restaurant opens.
the Ribs run out so fast its not even funny.
Clarify, did you just say that you went to the movies before there were talkies? If so, no wonder your still in 1989!Up in my neck of the woods, there was an old 1931 movie theater (closed in 1971) that was a throwback to the Golden Age of "movie houses". I wish I had some additional pictures of the inside to show you, but I did find one online of the Wurlitzer organ (that's right--those grand old theaters actually had organs). I don't recall what movie my mother took me to as a kid back then, but I do remember being in awe of all the interior decorations and lighting. (When the lights went down for the movie, the ceiling would have a nighttime lighting view design of the stars in the sky . . . )
Oh, I don't disagree at all. He is looking at the grim reaper things as having beaten it. So, yes... naturally one can laugh at it. However, at a certain time the grim reaper will come calling again and there will be no beating it, with or without cancer. That is called old age or what is sometimes referred to as Supreme adulthood. That tends to take the comic edge off it completely. Not lost entirely, but, cause for much more serious thought then we had before reaching that spot.
