Have you read your sewing manual @figmentfan423 ???
Yes I did. Mine reads more like a computer manual than a 40's how to get a husband guide:D Mine even had prettier pictures100_4066.JPG I think Minnie is prettier but that's just me

It's not that I think I'm so special that people are watching me, but that people are disgusted by me. I'm overweight and I am always worried people are thinking "Good Lord, woman, why aren't you eating in PRIVATE where I don't have to watch you?". Just like nursing babies...people think it's something others just shouldn't have to watch, even though it's perfectly natural and healthy and the baby has to eat, just like anyone. There's this stigma attached to it. I have a very unhealthy relationship with food and it's just humiliating eating where people can see me.
It's unfair in our society that feeling is mostly had by females due to fashion standards. BTW you're nowhere near as big as you think you are. You're being hard on yourself. eat if you're hungry and if anybody does judge you they're not worth knowing. IMHO

Very interesting, busy, full day at work today. I got to the office (we have two; I normally work out of the one closer to home, but they asked me to go to the other one just for today. I got there, and there was a new manager there. I ended the internship about a month ago, so I was rather surprised there was someone new in the office. Apparently he was hired right after I left. I asked him if the manager who hired and trained me over the summer was going to be in the office. He awkwardly said, "Um, she no longer works here." In between me going to work on Wednesday and coming to work today, they fired her. So I basically was hired as a partial replacement.

Rather shocking. In this industry, people don't usually get fired. Sales associates decide they aren't making enough and leave, or they may move to a different office. Interns come and go. This doesn't happen very much. It's really shaken the office. But then as I've gotten into the work more, especially recruiting interns, I realize there was a LOT that was left undone. We have unanswered applications from back in JUNE. That's just...completely unacceptable. So I've got a huge mess to clean up on the recruiting end and almost wish I had to go in Monday so I could continue cleaning up the mess. My boss also made a rather, er, not good recruiting decision yesterday that majorly backfired. I was in the office from 8:30-4:30 and didn't take more than a five minute break to go to the bathroom. Not even lunch. I came home and had a glass of wine.
That sounds like a 2 or maybe 3 glass day to me:eek::eek::eek:

Happy farm market Saturday. I really hope I make it today as my well pump gave out last night:mad::arghh::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::rolleyes: It's ancient so I'm trying not to complain too much .Anyway we're going to pull the old one this morning and double check what size the old one was before going to get the new one. The one and only upside the place we're getting the new one from is around the corner from the farm market. I figure If I cover myself from head to toe while helping pull the old one out and then change I'll be presentable enough to go there while my dh grabs the pump. Guess who may or may not have had a glass or 2 of wine last night.

What pump? Is this something in your car or is it something in your house?

Enjoy - I sell insurance in N central Florida - needless to say I'll be here all day. The coast got hit pretty good, further inland is mostly tree/landscaping damage. Roads are a mess and power is still out in many areas.

I can only imagine how busy it must be for you and your colleagues, after a big storm like that. Hopefully, you didn't lose power at home, as I also heard on the news about quite a few residential power outages in the affected areas. Let's hope that things get better for people down there very soon. Sorry to hear that this big storm created such a mess down there.

It's the pump that gets water from our well into the house. I currently have no running water and may have a friend from south Joisey coming up if the storm turns inland. As soon as the sun is up we'll be out replacing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need water. I'm so glad we always have several 5 gallon containers of water and a couple of cases of bottled water in the house.

Oh wow . . . that's major. I thought that every place had running water, unless you were living way out in the forest, for example. You house sounded modern from various things you've mentioned in the past, such as the nice appliances you have in the kitchen. I hope you can get a new pump today and get it installed quickly.

Thanks I live in the woods and don't have city water. It isn't too bad to change out except for pulling out the old one it's a rather easy fix. Our local plumbing supply store always has several in stock so as soon as we double check which one we need we'll grab it and drop it in. I'll have water by sometime today:joyfull:
