I am not a fan of bug spray either but I can tolerate Off's Smooth and Dry. It isn't as icky and doesn't smell nasty.

Sunscreen is another story. I don't like the feeling on my hands but I adore the smell of the Original Coppertone lotion.
Instantly puts me in a Florida mode. Yankee candle has a candle with that scent.

The difference being Coppertone was "suntan" lotion, not sunscreen.
But, yes, the scent is awesome and still brings back great memories...!

Yes, so sad.
Willy Wonka, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, etc. He was a hoot.
Today they had Willy Wonka on TV and I felt compelled to watch it. During the show all of a sudden a memory popped into my head. The first "movie" date that I went on with my X was Willy Wonka at a drive-in. Don't remember what the second movie was. And keep your mind out of the gutter @JenniferS. ;)

Confession...I have never watched Willy Wonka all the way through. I loved the book so much and read it over and over, I was disappointed by what I saw in the the parts of the movie I watched. Great book though!

We are getting what I call crazy rain. Impossible to stay dry. However still having a great time. Animal Kingdom was lots of fun, and we ate at Rainforest last night. The coolest thing is all the birthday wishes. Tonite is the Halloween party. My very first one.

Have lots of fun at the party. I'll be interested in any tips. We might be able to time out a weekend to make a trip to our first party.

It's not that I think I'm so special that people are watching me, but that people are disgusted by me. I'm overweight and I am always worried people are thinking "Good Lord, woman, why aren't you eating in PRIVATE where I don't have to watch you?". Just like nursing babies...people think it's something others just shouldn't have to watch, even though it's perfectly natural and healthy and the baby has to eat, just like anyone. There's this stigma attached to it. I have a very unhealthy relationship with food and it's just humiliating eating where people can see me.

I'm sorry you feel that way about food and yourself. In the pictures in your trip report you look great! But it is something real to you and I can understand that. I just get a little bored sitting by myself for a table service meal, I don't always want to be on my phone. I also tend to people watch and sometimes I end up starring at people without realizing it, so I don't want to be the creeper lady starring at people. I don't mean to be rude, but some people have interesting mannerisms and behaviors I just have to look. So sitting at a bar or quick service where there is a lot of action works well for me. :)

I never read the book, but, you perhaps could tell me. I've been told by many that the Johnny Depp "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is much closer to following the story lines then Willy Wonka. I don't know. I liked both. Willy was a feel good movie and Charlie was a rather dark movie. Well, how could it not be with Mr. Dreary directing it. It would be hard for you to say, if you haven't seen at least small parts of both of them, I realize, but, if you did, what would you say about it?

I never watched the Johnny Depp version either. It seemed a little wacked out with what I saw in the previews. Sorry I can't help you out but it is an interesting question. Maybe someone else has seen both and read the books.
