We are getting what I call crazy rain. Impossible to stay dry. However still having a great time. Animal Kingdom was lots of fun, and we ate at Rainforest last night. The coolest thing is all the birthday wishes. Tonite is the Halloween party. My very first one.

Enjoy the party! Get your candy! Some stops usually give out something healthy non-candy too.

I agree, I got up this morning and turned on the heat! It was in the low 60's, and the high today is 68.

Heh, heh . . . IMO, I think that @betty rose 's doctor's comment could be open to various interpretations. When I read her doctor's comment, I interpreted it more as a supportive and light-hearted gesture. I wasn't there, of course, but I'm imagining that they both smiled and agreed. Every doctor and every patient is different, but I think Bets' doctor was trying more to instill "incentive" for more appropriate eating choices, while also generating some goodwill toward her new patient. Just my two cents.

You are right. She is a friendly funny person. She was making a joke, and we did laugh. But, I got the meaning too! To get meds. we have to get checked out.

Off a little early today...3-2/3 day weekend...!!!!!

Enjoy - I sell insurance in N central Florida - needless to say I'll be here all day. The coast got hit pretty good, further inland is mostly tree/landscaping damage. Roads are a mess and power is still out in many areas.

Thanks! We are being missed with just winds but our DD and her DH will be hit later today. And now my DH and some crews are being sent to SC for power restoration work after it passes there. So the kitty and I are on our own all weekend. Pray for safe travels and safety for all tilbury and emergency personnel in all the areas that get hit.

I started taking my cortisone pills yesterday, so the foot is much better. The crazy rain makes it impossible to stay dry. However, we got a lot done yesterday anyway.

I'm so happy the meds are working for your foot. I hope the rain goes away soon!
