@Gabe1 and @betty rose , I also remember making forts in the basement of our house, with my brothers and sister. Sometimes, if we were stuck inside on a rainy day and couldn't go outside to play, we'd get creative and construct forts. We'd use those fold-up tables, blankets, chairs, boxes, and anything else lying around. We each had our own room in the fort, (shielded with a blanket "door"); and in order to enter someone else's room, you had to say the password they demanded. :joyfull:

We had a friend on our street (in the second house we lived in) in San Jose way back in the day. His parents allowed us to build a fort in their backyard, along one side of the house, made from scrap lumber from construction homesites in the area.
It was probably about 3 - 3-1/2 ft. tall...enough for us to crawl through and sit in.
It had a barracks room, mess hall room, officers club room (fortunately, we were all officers :D), ammo dump room, and a few more. It was a hoot!
It was around for about a year or so before the "government" (his parents ;)) decided to close the fort and turn it into a vegetable garden...!!! :hilarious:

Actually, that would be the epitome of being short-sighted, in regards to the future of TWDC, if that is his mindset; "As long as my butt's covered, I could give a carp if this company implodes when I'm gone in a coupla' years!"
That would be "long-sighted" thinking about his (financial) future, but, definitely short-sighted when it comes to the company's future.
Agree. Thats exactly my point.
Executives nowadays only care about themselves and only themselves.
Its funny because society is somehow supposed to function as we all work together.
But just like my country's politicians. they dont give a darn if the country burns in a monstrous fire. As long they stole enough to live overseas like a filthy rich millionaire for their entire lifetime.

Oh boy. If I actually stated what I thought about that all o can imagine the discussion for the next three days. Likely wouldn't be pretty. :jawdrop:
What part you disagree? the male view or the female view?

Also, anyone who has been to cruises on the caribbean. What you guys recommend to do in St. Marteen?
I honestly cant find much other than boat tours and walking.
I just cant believe they have the tiny Star Wars museum as #3 !!!

Sorry...but I don't think $27 for a headband makes sense. From my perspective, yes...they need to make a profit. But, if I can make that same headband for $5, I would expect them to charge $10....they are making a huge profit on that. Even $15 I would accept, because hey, it's the brand. But $27 is not even close to reasonable. I was SO proud that DD made the choice not to buy them...that she decided herself that it was not worth the asking price. She thought of all the other things she could buy with that money and that she would rather buy something she COULDN'T make and that she would use more. She is pretty wise for her age. She saw it as the money-grab that it is.

Yep. We all have the things we draw the line in the sand when it comes to Disney from food, water, adult beverage, park hoppers....

What did she wind up buying this trip?

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.

I've never been to Europe, but, it's definitely on the list, cruise or otherwise.
Especially after oldest DDs 3-1/2 week trip this past July. She had such a great time! And, she only went to England, Scotland, Ireland, and Germany...there's sooo much more to see...!
Naah thats pretty much all there is to see in Europe ;)

Might be condensation, as you said, or it might be the starter. I remember 2 years ago with our older car, the starter went--we were hoping it was the battery, but it was the starter.

I always start by checking the least expensive option, such as a loose or corroded battery cable connection, then work my way up. Many times it has been something like that, many times not.
I remember putting a starter on our Jeep Cherokee Laredo way back when. Took about 15 mins., and no labor charges! Didn't even need a jack 'cause it sat up so high...! :)
