Welp, today a third thing broke here. When I got home last week, I noticed the internet was offline and the TV in my room refused to turn on. The internet has been fixed, but my TV can't be replaced until after I go to New York. Then today, my phone decided to not charge. This had been a while coming as I've noticed over the last couple weeks it was very finicky with charging, and now it won't charge at all. I believe the lightning port is broken, and I can't get an appointment at an Apple Store until after I leave for New York...

Oh well! I'll just go back to my 5S until the next one comes out.

I stopped into the grocery store with my niece today and she noticed these chips. So of course we bought a bag. They are really yummy, they remind me a bit of a sour cream and onion but not as tangy. They definitely don't taste like steak or chimmichuri but they are good. They are a nice way to honor the Olympics!

There are also Chinese, Greek, and Indian flavors. We only bought the Brazilian.

We bought the Greek, szechuan chicken and Indian. The indian was good, the Greek was meh and the chicken was disgusting.

Interesting. I don't really like Lays (seriously, in WDW, I picked Apple slices over Lays. Just because they were Lays), but that seems...interesting.

Honey crisp apples are the only ones I have problems with. All others are okay. My allergies can be weird like that. I am also allergic to mandarin oranges, but all others are okay. No, I can't figure me out either.

Those are the two things I have never understood about phone manufacturers. They make these phones thinner, lighter, and with more features we don't need. I don't need a thinner phone; I need one that I can take swimming and that makes my portable power pack unnecesary.

She came right out when we got home. Our neighbor took care of her, and she likes our neighbor, so she wasn't completely distressed, nor was she giving me the angry meow she sometimes does. We cuddled, she purred, and then I got ready for bed and was laying in bed. For some reason, she refused to come up and was laying on my floor staring at me, like, "You left me, and I am most displeased." Now she's tucked under my arm and purring.

I wonder the same, they keep adding "more powerful" chips, processors, higher resolution screens (who the hell needs 4k (quad HD) in a tiny screen????) yet the battery power still can barely handle between 8 and 16 hours.
When it used to be a week.
Now samsung is refusing to add interchangeable batteries to their phones..forcing us to costly battery replacements a la Apple, and forcing earlier obsolescence to force us to shell another 600 USD for a new phone (by refusing to keep producing batteries, software upgrades..etc..).

This is just one of the reasons I am considering a dumb phone when my contract is up for renewal next year.
