I never saw Cats...sang Memory for solo and ensemble festival one year though! I wish I could come back to the States next year though...I think it's next year. My cousin is doing the casting for Frozen the Musical and I'd LOVE to see it. But there is no way.
Frozen is one that I would probably get on a bus and go up to NY to see.

I might see if my one friend (the one going to CA with me) wants to go to NY. Her aunt and uncle used to live up there and she would visit them up there frequently, so she can show me around for a change. And also see Broadway shows. Definitely see Broadway shows.

Sympathy like. Sounds awful. How's it doing now? Mine is still a bit tender on one side...I'm thinking it might never go away.

Mine was a straight slice to the bone so DD was able to slap it together and tape down. It took a week but is much much better. Sorry yours is still icky. By the picture I think you went through more meat than I did. Not fun, not fun at all.

We moved just about every year. I don't get attached to houses. I'm itching to move, but it makes no economic sense at this time.

My Mom still has her pension, half of my Dad's and his Social Security. She is pretty well set for life. But the house is a lot of work, expensive to maintain and being a pretty high end suburb the taxes are beyond ridiculous. But to me it is the always something that needs to be fixed, shoveled etc. She can't do it so she is always looking for someone. I'm far plus she is a bit nutty still so you never know which direction she is leaning towards on any given day. Very haphazard. I'd say pretty soon her overdrive will settle down and I'll get a better picture.

Whelp, we have left DHS. :( But we ended on a high note. Well, I did at least. Our last ride was TSM, and we finally got sent to the third track. It's really nice because there are no stairs. The cars also feel slightly larger. And I finally broke the 200,000 barrier (my new high score: 205,700).

Late flight out. We have about 30 minutes until pickup.

speaking of health, came back from the doctor.. need to get some xrays.. my column is a bit deviated which is normal thanks to my leg difference.
will get some tests and then will get a proper treatment.

also, funny thing of the olympics.
The swiss girl is winning in the mountain bike tournament.
And there is a guy with a rabbit costume head (full fledged costume) waving like mad and cheering lol.

I hope so. Getting older can be challenging for the kids, and parent's as well.

My niece is visiting for a couple days. Yesterday we went to the zoo in St.Paul, and today we walked in a 5k race my town is having. Then we took her to see Petes Dragon. Fun times and I was really impressed by Petes Dragon as I was not a big fan I of the original. There were even parts where I teared up.

Here's a couple shots from the conservatory at the zoo. The zoo and gardens are free.

And butterflies at the butterfly house.

And a carousel from the early 1900's.

And our 5k took us out into the country, not where I normally walk. It was pretty and the rain held off until the end.

And no, we weren't leading the pack.

Now it's time to go to the tractor parade! Then grilled pizza. We had the horse parade last night. There are fireworks tonight too, the aren't Disney but we may be listening to wishes in the car as they go off.
