I don't think I'll ever get bored with Disney either and never want to go. For me though, especially on a teachers salary it is not about multiple vacations throughout the year. There may be one or two week to 10 day vacations per year for me and my girlfriend. Most of the time in the 5 years we have been together it has been 1 big one with a long weekend or two thrown in. So for me Even though I love Disney a lot I am not going to go every year. My girlfriend also is not nearly as much of a fan of Disney as myself so I wouldn't even think to subject her to going every year. I also love seeing other places so I am totally fine with that part of it. Once I get back every 3-4 years it is all fresh and new and I am extremely excited like a 6 year old kid.
I understand . I've enjoyed everything, we have been able to do in life. Hubby's job afforded us the chance to travel.

We have, it's been so worth it, over the years.
I have just started making my Magical Memories with my girlfriend. I know she doesn't hold the same feeling as I do about Disney, but she enjoyed it and she told me she especially loved seeing the smile on my face. Maybe some day We will adopt or I will be inseminated and we can make memories with a family.

When our grandkids were little, were some of the best times. Seeing their faces was priceless.

I totally enjoy my life and the opportunities I have been given. Many people will never be able to experience the greatness of WDW or DL and that is sad to me. I have been 3 times. I enjoy my line of work, where I live, and my family is supportive of my decisions.

I do a lot of people watching while a Disney and some of which are kids. Seeing there eyes get big as saucers when they see there favorite character, see the castle, or the fireworks is priceless. What makes it even better is you see adults get the same way, including myself.

Have you tried DL? If not, you should give it a try. You could do a big long SoCal trip with about 5 Disney days. The parks out there are very different from the WDW parks. In fact, I would say those parks trump any of the individual WDW parks. My friend and I are going to DL in January and also spending some time in San Diego.
