well, thank god nothing that cant be recovered.
I just seen my huge credit card bill and paid bits there and here. I will survive I swear!

anyway I think I definitively busted one of the tendons that keeps the rotula (aka kneecap) aligned.
It hurts kinda bad when I stretch my leg completely and pull my knee backwards.
I think I pulled my bag too much sideways and that damaged my ligaments. Well see.. going to tell my doctor and see what goes.
I hope he can help you find relief. So sorry to hear your knee isn't better.

No, we didn't ask. He had already eaten all but one piece and he was full, so he wasn't going to eat it anyway. But boy was he MAD that the bird had the audacity to take HIS food. He starts shouting "Hey!!! That's MY food, not yours!!" Everyone in the general vicinity was looking...I don't think anyone missed the fact that a bird stole his fish! He was LOUD.

Ha! I'm rolling while laugh'n.

Happy to hear that he can express himself so well in English.

There are certainly bathrooms that are better than others. I have a few favorites and some I avoid unless absolutely necessary.

Yes, some bathrooms are just always a problem. Some are just neatly tucked away and nice. Even in most of the resorts there are those around the corner that nobody seems to know they are there facilities, you just have to be on the look out. What surprises me is there are several large restrooms in the parks that guests for whatever reason don't seem to gravitate to.

Yep, my Mom took me out of school on my 16th Birthday to get my license, my DS got his on his 16th. My DD wasn't ready, she pulled her license 16+ a month on NYE the day before the laws changed. She still didn't drive alone until 6 months later, she wasn't that sure of herself yet and she knew it. Shortly after she started to driving to dawn swimteam practice a stupid 16 year old blew a stop sign and T-Boned her, that was a scarey phone call. She was in my truck and the other kid was in a mini pick-up. My truck one. It did have a 4x4 dent by the front tire, she had a broken left foot. She thinks it slammed against the side of the car on impact. Being in flip flops not a lot to block the impact. I rode my bike to the accident and when the dude was ticketed and we were free to go I had her drive home just so she didn't have to fret about that. I did drive her to work later and to the ortho the next day as I didn't know about the foot 'till much later.
Poor girl. I didn't want to get my license..I was scared of driving. My mom told me I could renew my permit ONCE and then I had to get my license. The first time I got behind the wheel on the highway, I got pulled over for erratic driving...I had never driven my mom's car before and the gas was way touchier than in my brother's old clunker on the back roads. So I was trying to get the feel of it, and the cop in back of me made me nervous anyway. He pulled me over, I was in tears, he apologized and offered to go ahead of me so he wouldn't make me nervous, but I was DONE, so my mom drove us. In the end, I never took the test because they had a computer glitch when I renewed my permit. When they sent the hard copy, they accidentally sent a license instead of a permit.

I was never fond of driving, I had to do it to get to work. I'm glad hubby loves to drive.

4? Wow, you got put into chores early!
Ha, nah...more likely we begged to go and that was dad's way of keeping us out of trouble and it made us feel important. He mostly did the chores himself, but if we went, we helped. I remember pounding nails to fix fences (those U-shaped nails that hold the wires), and scooping corn or "cake" for the cattle. I had my own boots and rubber over-shoes, and all that stuff. I even had my own pony for a while until after mom and dad got divorced. We thought it was fun at that age.

This is the first year that we are starting this late. This will be my 6th year teaching in this district and at this school and we usually start 2 weeks earlier and get out 2 weeks sooner. September 1st is also only when the teachers report. The students first day isn't until September 8th.
As a parent, I really like the short summer. Our kids' last day was July 8th and they go back August 22nd. Over here, we don't have summer activities...all the activities coincide with the school year, so there's no way to keep the kids occupied in the summer. Also, our weather is not very summer-like...it would be more like spring in the U.S. so the kids can't always go outside to play. Being cooped up inside with no outlet for energy is hard enough for 6 weeks...I hate to imagine what it would be like if we had the 3 month summer model. I think I'd go crazy!!

A Figment fan being crazy, I can't believe it. Maybe a Stitch fan because he is a bit wacky at times, but Figment not as much. :)
@Mr Ferret 88, who let you out of your cage?? Please don't scare off the nice new people. They just GOT here!
Sorry...we try to keep him on a leash, but @figmentfan423 is on vacation, so she's not here to keep an eye on him.

Oh, I wish I was going in 58 days. I however will be teaching. My girlfriend is learning to become a huge Disney Fanatic and I am helping. We celebrated 5 years being in a relationship together this past June and although she was reluctant at first she did really enjoy herself. She is the one with the glasses and the big smile in my avatar picture. I am the other girl smiling in my happy place.
Awesome!!! My husband doesn't mind going to Disney, but I don't think it's his first choice. Do you have kiddos? I find they make a great excuse for Disney...then it's not just ME wanting to go.

Our High School nor Middle School discontinued Homeroom at least 15 years ago. Added up the minutes of homeroom and additional passing time and deemed it a waste of time each week, month, year when totalled up. Attendance is submitted in Middle School by the end of the 1st period, in High School attendance is taken at the beginning of 2nd period to allow for late buses etc. Announcements in both schools are during the last few minutes of the last period.
Huh...we never had homeroom. Our "homeroom" was just our first period class. And our teachers had to take attendance in every class to make sure students didn't skip out after attendance was taken.

He certainly did! We came back home almost a week ago and he's still chattering away in English. He was only shy about it the first few days, then he wouldn't shut up. I don't know how many times we had to say "Hey, motor mouth, leave the people alone." I don't think the bird was particularly bothered with his ranting, though. He cracks me up.

I liked the one behind the Character Spot in Epcot...they were always clean and practically empty!!

I attended a new church, won't say denomination, we were told we had to evangelize our neighborhood. I said no way, I'm not a bully, and was told to leave. Not a fan of intolerant people.
Could be worse, my cousins says tv evangelists and "for business christians" are very common nowadays when I was at Houston. there were HUGE "churches" where they are told to "pay" if not to "GTFO".. (as "if you're not giving money... get the f.. out, you're wasting our space") type churches.

Reminds me of Coronado springs.. the convention space bathrooms are always spotless.
so if you have to go and you're in coronado.. better go to the convention center farthest ones.. :P
