Yes, they do! But aside of the eye candy appeal for the ladies watching the race, these "fire suits" can save lives. They're all rated by the SFI Foundation, to withstand between 1,800 and 2,100 degrees, the temperature of gasoline fires.
I've been up all night so I'm a little silly. I was going to post that the suits protect against the rising temperatures from their well chiseled bodies but I will practice restraint. Oh wait...

Silly? Not silly at all; you were merely stating fact! :hilarious:

I'm one of the few that can't hate on Meg. I kinda admire what she did for her career given all her disabilities. Kinda a pioneer for women in the industry. Not easy for a woman to climb to that level at Disney considering how few women did when she started. I wish her well.

I really never heard of her....except when the people on here act like their two and yell and scream about her

Ha ha ha . . . yah! And while we're at it. let's also rent out a movie theater, just for us and our pals here! (Elvis used to do that for his chummies, once in a while!) ;)

If we are watching Elvis movies in that theater, we have to watch Blue Hawaii and Paradise Hawaiian Style. Those are my favorite Elvis movies. When I went to Hawaii a couple of years ago I watched those on the plane over to get me in the mood.

I just realized that Elvis was kinda cute.

Yeah, most of the pictures that float around of Elvis was when he was a young man. Rarely the later years and he was only 42 years old.

Add the extra weight, about 260 pounds he kinda lost his cuteness.

That's cool, but for me, I love driving especially a stick shift.

The first "car" I ever learned to drive, at age 13, was a '63 International Harvester pickup with "three on the tree" (3-speed manual, steering column shift). Alternated between stick and manual for several years, but, I've been drivin' stick for the last 26+ years straight. Give me a decent-performing ride with a 5-speed manual tranny on an open, winding, Texas Hill Country road, and I'm in. Sitting in traffic to and from the office, not so much. My latest, newer, ride is automatic, for that reason. :)
