I'm using Chrome too, I go along, and all of a sudden I can't do anything. Very frustrating for me. Maybe other's like that I'm off!

Question... when using Chrome and when it suddenly can't do anything, is the site in the file box fluttering along with the cursor?

We went to Verizon in '09 after having Comcast for years. Never looked back.

Oof! Luckily, we aren't getting the heavy rains. But I can't remember when I moved my house next to the bayou. Sticky is an understatement. Thank goodness for a/c.

agree with you, speaking of floods, we got warning floods for most of the areas around Houston, including Galveston. severe floods already in Louisiana.

forgot to mention, it has approximately 3x the lifespan battery wise than the older one.
before, i was using 3 batteries every 3 days.
Now it should be using 2 batteries every 5-6 days.

Yesterday, while walking down the sidewalk on a busy side street in the city, I observed an entire family of foreigners (might have been either Japanese or Chinese--couldn't exactly hear what language they were speaking, as I was on the opposite side). They were standing IN the street (at the one moment when there were no cars--but with their backs to any oncoming traffic!!) all staring at their phones, all playing Pokemon Go, with the kids looking up and around toward a building off to the side.)

Sure enough, a truck comes whipping around the corner, and I screamed to them, "Get OUT of the street!!" They all looked startled (I don't know if they understood what I was trying to say to them) and then they heard the loud horn of the truck while he screeched on the brakes . . .

When will this fad move on?! Please . . .

funny thing you mention pokemon go, My cousin, my aunt and uncle we all went to eat at a chinese buffet.. then we went downtown to see how it has changed (havent been there in 5 years, so many new buildings) also we seen hundreads of young men and ladies in their late 20's to teens all with their pones out, all were looking for nearby pokemon, the annoyance? most of them were busy watching their phones THAN to actually watch when they crossed the streets. b)

It does something to the condenser. Son in law confirmed, he is in civil engineering.

Knock wood, we have a very very old A/C unit. It is beyond reliable. It is an old green machine like @JenniferS has. So not worth ripping it out for the energy savings vs cost of a new one since we only use it a few months a year and until this past summer, we had so many cool ones we chose not to update.

I have Verizon Fios. The screen keeps on freezing up while I am posting.

this doesnt seem internet wise.
most of the time when the browser freezes, something is hanging up. Might be the javascript of this page or other things.q
