Right now they are outside, but we will bring them all inside tonight because it will be below 0 with strong winds. They do eat more to stay warm! We put out 1,000 pound round bales of grass hay for them to eat and there is a heated waterer outside for them. When we bring them inside, they each have their own stall with a heated water bucket and they get flakes of hay to munch on. We never tried hot chocolate with them, but they are always trying to drink our coffee! ;)
Smart horses.

@donaldtoo , how are Ranger and Belle in your somewhat colder weather? Do they enjoy it, or are they hot weather dogs? My dog is a wuss; he wants no part of colder weather at all. Basically, he just likes to stay inside with us and get into mischief. He gets all out of sorts when one of us is not home; he'll often wait and stare at the front window until we come home. Then he gets all excited again, runs around and acts double crazy to celebrate that the pack is all here together! :joyfull:

Ive seen some of the videos of dogs waiting and crying until their people come home. Walt watches me go down the driveway but I can always tell where he has napped while we are away.

From a financial report I watched on CNBC some months ago, it was precisely that ill-fated marketing scheme that contributed to their serious downturn.

And bringing in real low quality clothing, bedding etc. Low price for low quality. They have righted that ship but they have never recovered from those moves. Then they went to sales on certain days and weekends of the month which was too hard for people to keep track of or have the desire to. They started the low quality and flat when the recession was deep. Think people just didn't buy at flat if all they could get was low quality and no sales.

I was disappointed when the flat price Saturns went out. I hate hate hate buying cars.

Boston just won the US Olympic bid for 2024. The corrupt IOC is not picking the Olympic city for 2024 until 2017. Get ready for Big Dig 2  if we get it. Boston and Providence will be the two major cities, soccer will be played at Gillette Stadium, which Providence is closer so most people will probably go there. We can't handle it.

Yeah I wonder what Chicago did or maybe didn't do to be dropped in round #1

Do the citizens of Boston want the Olympics?

I know when Chicago was bidding a few years ago most didn't want it minus retail and hotels along with the restaurants but it would have brought the business world in DT Chicago to a halt. The mayor wanted it and that seemed to be all that mattered. Everyone feared the financial losses and what would happen to the parks.

I have heard Uptown Funk in at least three commercials for different movies and products. It’s probably going to get played out very soon, maybe tomorrow.

That is what I was wondering. I think all these reports can be made showing how this would be an economic boom for the city. But I think in the end the only one's who come out ahead would be restaurants, hotels, and maybe some attractions. I think the city looses $$. But the mayor's ego is stroked.

"Chicago recorded an all-time high of 504 killings in 2012, but just two years later homicides were down to 392". I wonder if that had anything to do with it. I think they are still the highest on the list, but all the numbers for 2014 haven't been finalized yet....
