I looked at this picture too quick and thought he was holding a butcher knife then remembered it was a fan. I think I need more sleep.

If that were a butcher knife, I'm thinkin' the attraction would not only need a refurb, but, also, an exorcism...!!!

A little background material on me.

My name is Barbara Ann, hence the BA in my username. I tried getting Barbaraann, but it was taken. I wonder if that could have been me years ago, when I first discovered Disney websites, and I just forgot my log in info.

I married to the same man for 50 years. I have two boys, and a 23 year old grandson.

I have been to Disney World about 10 times, and Disneyland about 10 times. All of my trips have averaged about a week. Some shorter, and a few glorious ones longer. I prefer the longer ones, of course. I prefer Disneyland over WDW by the way, although always have fun no matter what. My motto is "If you don't have fun on your vacation, than it's your own fault".

I have lived in Chicago my whole lot, and don't plan on ever living anywhere else. I come from a family of 6, but it's just me and my sister now, Mom, Dad, and my 2 brothers are all deceased now. I root for all Chicago teams, but prefer the Cubs over the White Sox.

Now you know me a little better. Basically, I am a shy person, but I speak up when I feel it matters to be heard.

I love this thread, and this site gives me a different perspective on things for sure. I have posted the past 11 years mostly on one other site, but needed a change. I'm loving the change.

A little bit of a late welcome (I'm always "ketchuping" ), but, we love having you here!

I've been married to the same wonderful woman for 27+ years. We have 3 children (DD 25, DS 23, and DD 21). Oldest DD has been married for 2+ years, and we love SonIL too.
I was born in San Antonio, Texas, and have also lived in Huntsville, Alabama, San Jose California, and back to Texas in Austin for the last 40 years this month.
My first visit to a Disney Park was Disneyland in '68. I've since been there 4 more times.
My first trip to WDW was on our honeymoon in Dec. of '88. Our first family trip (all 5 of us) was in July of '12. We've since been a total of 9 times.
Both resorts are very sentimental to me.

Anyway, thanks for sharing about yourself, and there's a little about myself...!

I've planned and packed everything except.......... I have no clue what to do with my nails tomorrow. I'm getting them done with a pink gel polish but I still haven't settled on a design. I want a Disney design of some type but the party pooper better known as my dh says that may be just a bit over the top. Is there such a thing? he said they might be just a bit out of place at UNI.

It's official we're on vacation my dh is on his way home from work and he escaped just in time. A new project starts tomorrow that he wants no part of. He said it's not a fun one and has crazy hours. Tomorrow is my spa day!

I wish I could like this 1,000 times...!!!!! Especially, 'cause I think I'm that many pages behind, at this point...!!!!!

My favorite solitaire game is Demon and Thieves. I can usually beat it each time I play it. It's a great one for the plane trip to WDW. I have been readying my iPad for my WDW trip, which begins in just 22 days. The foot is still sore, but feeling much better than the day I went to the doctor.

Speaking of ketchup, my grandson eats them on his hot dog. He's been doing that his entire 23 years. A Chicago boy that does not like mustard, which is contrary to his dad, and his grandfather who do. I guess he takes after his granny. That would be me. What do I put on a hotdog? Now, it's ketchup at home, but out about in the city, it's a Chicago style hotdog all the way with mustard/onions/relish/pickles, but no hot peppers.

I will put all of that stuff (including peppers) on a hotdog, except ketchup.
If it's a really good quality hot dog, just on a nice fresh bun by itself. Many times with just mustard only. But, there are also many occasions when I luvs me a good foot-long chilly cheese Coney with mustard and onions from Sonic...!

I loved looking at the book titles in the library area of the Skipper Canteen. I took pictures of a bunch and I still chuckle when I look at them. Did you enjoy your meal? It was one of our favorites.
