Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
She sometimes will text me or message me when she wants to talk to me about something and doesn't want my dad to hear. But literally the question was, "Do we have free shipping on Amazon?" Then she texted me, "I messaged you on iMessage." Not sure why she texted me that she messaged me...or why she didn't just walk upstairs and talk to me...or why we completed an entire Amazon order when we're in the same house.

That's funny.

I am still excited about my trip, but now I need to rethink my touring strategy with a sore foot. Midday breaks are nice, but going back to the hotel would be more of a strain on my foot, versus just finding places to rest inside the parks. I can see myself spending hours at a time in one land, and sitting and taking photos may just very well give me a new view on things. I am still considering an ADR for Animal Kingdom Day. Right now, we don't have one.

I've been thinking about you. If I remember correctly, you had a Dr. appointment this month, about your cancer. I hope it came out good. No more growth and all.
Well, they did scare me a bit. I had the biopsy on Tuesday (last week). They told me that it would be up to 2 weeks to get the results. Flash up to this morning. I'm walking out of the club house at the golf course at about 7:15am (trying to get in before the killer heat) when my phone rings. It is the Doctor. Immediately my heart sinks. Not only is it less then 7 days but it's 7 freaking 15 in the morning.

As it turns out he just wanted to tell me that nothing had changed at all during the past year, so that was good news, but, he was wondering if I still opted to keep it under surveillance and be biopsied again in two years. Since I am having zero problems other then having to say... Yea, I got cancer... I still want to continue with the surveillance, but, I did want to meet with an oncologist to discuss what options I might have and what might be the wisest choice for me to make. So, he is setting up an appointment for that. So all those words to just say... it may be there, but, it is hibernating and not hurting anyone. For the moment we will call that all good news. Thanks for asking, you have a good memory. I don't believe that Alzheimer's will ever be a problem for you.

I like my tea dark and strong. I don't boil it for that long but I'll leave the teabags in for 15 minutes or more.

Did someone say "tea"? I am a tea drinker. Do not like coffee at all. I drink mostly Lipton, although when I am on vacation, I will settle for other brands. Since I developed high blood pressure, I now switch to decaf after 6 p.m. I like plain old Lipton Tea bags, but I also drink Green Tea, and Peach sometimes, because I adore peaches. Doesn't matter if it's warm, or cold weather, I still always have a certain number of hot cups of tea a day. No refillable mug for me. I bring my own mug, and use the hot water at the food court at Pop. They have sugar, and creamer, so I am all set. In the parks, I sometimes order the unsweetened tea at the Quick Service places in the hotter weather, although sometimes I get hot tea there too.

But only for DCA's TofT.

I can live with that. If they touch DHS's...but thankfully it sounds like they won't. I'd rather have the rumored GoftG attraction at Epcot than have DHS's TofT overhauled. Though if they're going to put Guardians someplace, it seems like it should be Tomorrowland. Preferably replacing SGE. But unfortunately, that doesn't seem like it's happening.
While I agree, voting for the lesser of the devils is still voting for the devil. :P

It is amazing how much of that goes on. At the University my DD works for their off hours flip over to India for direct inquiries. Like they have a clue and they are juggling themselves multiple contract inquiries. My DD looks back at follow ups she must do and reviews info provided previously and her head wants to implode.
Feel sorry for her. Not to mention the thick accents.
No offense to Indians operators in any way, but like me.. who I hardly has english training.. They shouldn't be doing calls unless they can have a decent level of fluency.

I will not watch that movie. Nope. A rat is a rat, is a rat, and I certainly don't want to have nightmares of one of those running around in my house/kitchen. I even had to look away in Enchanted, and the new Cinderella, when the live mice came on the screen. I have a wide yellow stripe down my back. My grandson has 4 guinea pigs, and one of them is a shorthaired brown one. I know it's a guinea pig, but to me, it looks just like a rat. My grandson gets very upset with me when I tell him that. He tells me how sweet all his guinea pigs are. Especially the brown one. Fear of rodents. That's me. Must come from living in Chicago where we have a bad problem. I've seen way too many sewer rats, for my liking.
That rat is very clean, he walks in his back paws and washes his front paws :P

I'm glad you are meeting with an oncologist, always better to get a second opinion. I'm glad you'll be around here for many more years.:D:inlove:

I can drink a half gallon of iced tea a day. Plain, no lemon, no sugar. On cold winter days I'll have hot Earl Grey. :)

Loving these friendship photos. Wondering are they real, or photoshopped.

My grandson had a cat that was super friendly with his mom's bird. The cat passed away, and now the bird lives somewhere else. A beautiful friendship ended in sadness.
All real. If I find a pic has been photoshopped, I don't use it. There's a lot of sunsets I've passed on for that reason.

staying in the park sounds like an excellent idea even if you wind up getting a wheel chair. Just find some really good A/C and rest when you can

That's wonderful news, no growth is good growth:facepalm: Continued stagnation.
